He arrived on time and completed work quickly. Managed to fix back door lock in under 15 minutes that builder had failed to fix during 60 day escrow. He was quick to respond to messages on angie's list and was the most affordable I found from other quotes. Definitely would hire and again and recommend him highly/

Richard went above and beyond in providing the service. He explained everything clearly, and made recommendations that I had not previously considered. He arrived on time (actually 20 minutes early!), and performed the work in a timely manner. I would definitely hire him again!

Richard came and rekeyed our 'new to us' home. We went from having four different keys to open our three doors to one key for all. He was informative about what he was going to do. He also pointed out that we had an interior garage door knob that was actually dangerous because it was the wrong kind of knob. It had a passage door knob that could not be unlocked from the inside. He replaced it with no additional charge. I would use Richard services again and have already recommended him to others.

I reserved a date with Richard a few days ahead. Due to elements out of my control I had to postpone. It was easy to reschedule with RAC. He arrived on time was prompt and informative and provided some good suggestions. All in all everything went quickly and efficiently I'd certainly call on him again when I need more lock work.

Exceeded expectations

Found him on Angie's List and gave him a call. Didn't catch him when free, but he called back within 5 minutes. Made an appoint that would work for both of us. Arrived right on time and went straight to work. We were wondering if one old lock could be made to match the others. Done! Provided the requested number of keys desired. He was friendly and didn't seem to mind an occasional question. It was dry that day and he set up "shop" in the driveway. An enjoyable experience all around. I would definitely use his services again if needed.

Richard did an excellent job.  He was pleasant and personable.  While assessing the situation, he tried to come up with the most economical solution while also maintaining a high level of quality which is why he recommended replacing one lock instead of just moving the broken dead-bolt to an unimportant location (garage entry).  He set about his work without interfering with our moving activities as much as he could and kept us informed of his progress and recommendations as needed.  Admittingly I didn't get numerous quotes, but I felt that the total cost was very reasonable and was pleased with the finished product.

Called Monday AM, on a job so left message on what services we need. Call was promptly returned and set an appointment for next afternoon. Also verified directions as house is new and map programs very inaccurate and put us miles away from where we are. Richard was there when I arrived, we went over what had to be done. He re-keyed five locks, provided keys for those locks, answered any questions we had. He was prompt, professional and reasonably priced.  I now understand why he has so many positive Angie's List reviews, he earns them.

This guy was great.  Showed up on time and exceeded all expectations.  He was there for several hours and did everything we asked in a friendly and professional manner and did not shock us with an outrageous bill.

This is one of the best service calls I have had in  my life.  I called Richard to have some locks rekeyed on Saturday afternoon.  He arrived 30 minutes later.  Disassembled the locks and worked on them in his van.  He worked very professionally, quietly and efficiently.  He rekeyed the locks, tested them all and gave me

4 sets of keys for them.  When he gave me a bill for $200.00 I was floored.  Expected the bill to twice that amount and the fact he responded so quickly was a bonus.  It gives me pleasure to recommend such a hard working professional who is extremely competitive with his pricing.

Super well.  Rich responded right away to set up a time/day.  His truck is amazing - outfitted with all the pieces and parts he needed and very organized.  He is knowledgeable, security conscious, and professional.  He had 10 locks to rekey and he did so much faster than expected.  He also gave me good information for when I want to change my door hardware to newer/nicer sets. 
4/28  I messaged him again today as my mailbox lock has been unsecure for some time.  He was able to respond today!  Added bonus - he was kind enough to pick up all my mail that had scattered along the street due to the open mailbox.

The door going between our garage and house became jammed yesterday.  I used all of my limited handyman skills to try and fix it, but was unable to get the piece of broken latch out of the door.  I called RAC this morning around 9am and he was here by noon (he actually could have been here within an hour but no one was going to be home).
He replaced the broken latch and put everything back together again in about 30 minutes.  I was expecting it to cost a lot more, past experiences with locksmiths have been very sketchy - RAC was totally professional and reasonable, and my wife who was home with our young son was totally comfortable with him.
Highly recommend these guys, will use them again whenever we need locksmith services.

Richard came out immediately. He was cheerful, friendly and knowledgeable. He got the job done correctly and did not charge for additional time needed due to our complicated hardware.  We will use his services again.

What a great guy! Great sense of humor, came within an hour of calling, reasonable cost & would definitely call if I need again...hopefully I won't as I'm getting a hide a key ;). Highly recommend!!!
