Bill was great.  The service call was for the water line and he provided additional services when noticed a couple things.  He did not increase his service charge upon providing those additional services.  Bill was very nice and professional, and I would recommend him to others.  Based on the services provided I feel confident he will go above and beyond to make sure the customer is happy at a fair price.

Bill from Proficient came out and installed a gas line for a permanently installed home standby generator.  It was a fairly difficult installation and took him longer than he wanted it to but he was firm on his price, which is outstanding.  Many people would have charged more for the work but stood behind his bid and that says a lot about his character.  He is very experienced and it shows in his work.  I would gladly hire Bill again.  The fact that the owner is the one doing the work really makes the company shine, as he has full responsibility for the success of his business.  I try to support small businesses whenever I can and really like working with the owners directly.  I feel that I get better service when working with the owners.  Thank you Bill.  I look forward to working with you again.

We feel that Bill went above and beyond because he really did walk into the middle of a plumbing project that would have been done differently by a different plumber. Instead of quoting us a number that would have included scrapping what we had already done, he worked with what was there even though it required some very creative while meeting code.
Bill saw our mistakes and did not judge us or walk away. He patiently helped us come up with workable solutions to running the supply lines and correcting the drain placements so that vents could be placed. Bill maintained a focus of making sure all the plumbing would meet code requirements. Our project coded - we were in the plumbing world of cardiac arrest!
Bill is also a very friendly and amiable person to work with and around. He allowed me to not only watch but to ask questions because I wanted to learn. Most professional contractors might not like a homeowner staring over their shoulder but without breaking stride in his work, Bill just saw this as an opportunity to have fun and talk about anything from In-N-Out burgers to grandkids watching frosty the snowman! We might just think of more plumbing issues to get him back for a Bar-B-Que!
