The Piano Hospital people were wonderful to work with.  We just moved and the piano was in desperate need of a tuning.  They were able to work with our schedule and see us on a Saturday morning.  The tuner was excellent!  He was very nice and did a great job.  I would definitely recommend them again.

The piano tuner arrived on time, was very pleasant and courteous, and did a great job tuning my piano. I have been using Piano Hospital for several years and am always pleased with their work. Scheduling is easy and everyone behaves with a high degree of professionalism.

The piano tech was very rude; he was blind and judged my piano the moment he stepped into my home. He arrived 15min early for the appointment and my husband let him in. He called me on the phone, and told me I had a wreck of a piano, he said it was wretched! I use my piano professionally; I have a baby grand piano and I was offended by his comments. He said it would cost over 3000.00 to fix the problem and right now I'm looking to get a second opinion. My husband and I tried having private conversation in another room and he listened in on it! I did not like how we were being treated and that he talked down to my husband because he was not a musician. His executive assistant drove him to my home and she was rude as well. It was such an uncomfortable situation in my own home and I am baffled that 2 people would enter my home and treat me so disrespectfully. I would never recommend them! The piano tech told me if he replaced the one string I needed replaced then before too long the string next to it would break. It wasn't even a half hour after he left that the string broke. I believe the string appeared to be cut. He didn't even tune the piano and only tuned the one note that he replaced. I feel that they over charge and want to scare people to spend more. I was not happy with them at all.

We had our piano tuned after 7 years and two moves, so our piano was is serious need of attention. Les Fitzpatrick arrived right on time and tuned our piano. He was so professional, friendly and personable and he was a pleasure to work with. Our piano sounds great and we have no complaints!

Don Mitchell arrived on time with the Executive Director driving him. Don (who is blind himself) is actually one of the instructors at the Piano Hospital (aka - School of Piano Technology for the Blind) where they teach piano tuning and repair to blind and visually impaired students. The regular tuner was off that day, so Don filled in and did an excellent job.

Right away he noticed there were 2 strings broken. He tuned the piano to itself due to its age and also gave us advice on what to restore and how much that would likely cost. We were VERY pleased and have already mentioned the Piano Hospital to a few friends.

We hired them based on reviews on Angie's List and we were not disappointed. They arrived exactly on time. They were very polite and professional, and took the time to do the job right. I would definitely hire them again.

THE PIANO REPAIRMAN CAME TO OUR HOUSE TO LOOK AT THE PIANO AND GAVE US AN ESTIMATE. IT WAS A LITTLE STEEP BUT SINCE IT IS ALMOST AN ANTIQUE WE HAD TO GET IT DONE. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB AND WE WILL HAVE THEM TUNE IT IN THE FUTURE.

THE PIANO HOSPITAL DID A VERY GOOD JOB TUNING MY PIANO. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD WORK DONE BY THEM, BECAUSE I HAVE BEEN EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THEIR SERVICE. THE PIANO HOSPITAL HIRES BLIND PEOPLE TO TUNE PIANOS. THEY WERE RUNNING LATE AND GAVE ME CALL GIVING THE APPROXIMATE TIME THAT THEY WOULD BE ARRIVING. THEY WERE WITHIN 10 MINUTES OF THE ESTIMATED TIME. THE DRIVER AND THE TUNER WERE EXTREMELY POLITE.

WHAT A WONDERFUL ORGANIZATION! THEY MAKE IT POSSIBLE FOR PEOPLE TO BUY USED PIANOS, EXPERTLY REFURBISHED BY THEM AND THEN PROVIDE THE FOLLOW UP SERVICED NEEDED. THE GREAT PART IS THAT THEY HAVE TRAINED SIGHT IMPAIRED INDIVIDUALS TO PERFORM TUNING SERVICES. THEY ARRIVE, WITH A SUPER FRIENDLY DRIVER, AT YOUR DOORSTEP AND TUNE AWAY!!

THEY ARE, GENERALLY, A GOOD COMPANY. THEY EMPLOY BLIND PIANO TUNERS AND DO A GOOD JOB. THEY ARE ALWAYS WANTING TO SELL YOU ANOTHER PIANO TUNING EACH TIME THEY COME, THOUGH, AND SCHEDULE THE TIME, WHICH IS DIFFICULT TO DO 6 MONTHS IN ADVANCE.
Response from PIANO HOSPITAL
"We no longer schedule 6 months in advance just for that reason. We will send out a reminder postcard or email when it is time to tune your piano again."
