New Leaf Crawl Space is awesome! This company literally saved my home. During a pest inspection by another company, we discovered standing ground water left long undetected had ruined nearly all the support posts in the crawl space. After overpaying a different company to pump the water out, I was lucky enough to be referred to New Leaf for the repairs. Cameron and his team replaced all the bad posts, dug a french drain and installed a sump pump with alarm. The team was prompt, courteous, clean, and the price was very reasonable. When the pest control company returned to finish their job, they commented on what an excellent job New Leaf had done with the repairs. (In future I will also use New Leaf for pest control, but I had already paid the first company.) It's been over a year since the repair, and the crawlspace has remained dry. And on one of the follow-up checks (included in the price), Cameron voluntarily cleaned out the dryer vent free of charge. New Leaf is a great company, and I highly recommend them!

From start to finish New Leaf was exceptional. I worked with Cameron and he gave me a more than fair estimate and scheduling with the office was very easy. The crew showed up on time and completed the work quickly. They made sure to cover up all the carpet and flooring to ensure it did not get soiled. Everyone from Cameron to the crews that came to do the work was excellent, and I would not hesitate to hire New Leaf again.

Work went very well - company was very professional, timely and communicated well. Work was even done one day ahead of schedule. They put down plastic sheeting between the front door and entrance to the crawlspace so the floors weren't messed up. We didn't really want to go down there ourselves and see how the work looked when done, but our contractor was down there the week after and said it looked great, very clean and dry etc. Will probably call them for spider control as they said they also do pest control. **Note about the electrician they recommend (White Lightning) to run a new outlet for the sump pump: We ended up not using them as they would have run an electrical conduit along the wall to run the electrical line for the new outlet, and would have put the GFCI outlet in the crawlspace for the sump pump. This has 2 issues, one the conduit is ugly and we wanted it routed through the walls, and 2 if the GFCI outlet ever trips then you have to crawl into the crawlspace to push the button to reset it. They were very professional and were very understanding of us cancelling, however. Our contracter ended up running the line through the wall and put another GFCI outlet in the wall of the garage (which connected to the sump pump outlet), so we could reset the switch from the garage if it ever trips.

I had several bids as we had some mild water intrusion in the crawl space. Believe it or not no other company actually went into the crawlspace except for New Leaf. Cory actually went down in the crawl space with me and did a thorough investigation. He wrote up the bid for me right on the spot. He answered all my questions. The crew that came as nice and generally respectable. They were clean. Everything was reasonably priced. I will definitely keep their names on my future list for any future crawlspace work.

I have been very pleased, starting from the initial quote, throughout the job, and into the follow-up process. 
The brief history:  our crawlspace had long-standing rodent issues (nesting, urine and feces contaminating easily over half of the existing insulation, etc, even though we'd been told all was well by both the home inspector and a previous pest control company - we've been in the house for 1.5 years).  Well finally the funky odors and the fact that my nasal allergies had gotten so much worse after moving into this relatively new house (17 yrs old now) made me seek out additional help (the old pest control company was of no assistance, for unknown reasons, possibly because they don't do crawlspace restorations?).
Anyhow, New Leaf's lead technician Cory came out to do an inspection and give us a quote.  I had pages of questions for him so that I could learn as much about the situation as possible.  Cory was so very patient and factual!  He answered all of my questions (and more later), always being calm and sensible!  He was very knowledgeable and thoughtful about the whole process, wanting to help me learn what was going on without exaggerating things or proposing unneeded work.
We got 3 bids, and although all seemed qualified and would do good work, Cory (and the owner, Jordan, who I also had some contact with), along with the reasonable cost (in comparison!  it is costly!) made me choose New Leaf.
I am very happy with their work & their attitude.  Four workers showed up on time to begin the clean-out process.  The workers were all polite, personable and hard-working.  I would suggest, though, that If they have to venture into the house (to clean out other areas, use the rest room, etc), I'd highly recommend you provide extra floor protection (or ask them to) as those guys get quite dirty from head to toe!  Anyhow, it's a dirty process so think ahead and ask them to protect any area where they'll be traversing, even the garage floor.  They of course protected the immediate work area, but could have done a little better in the less-traveled areas.
After the clean-out, they sanitized the area with a product called Bac-a-zap, which essentially biodegrades (eats) biological contamination (rodent goo) over a period of time.  Then they worked hard to seal up holes, entry locations and possible travel places for those pesky rodents.  Last came the new materials - new insulation and new vapor barrier.  The workers were all consistently hard-working and of a positive attitude.
The result:  within 3 days of finishing, my nasal allergies improved about 90%!  I could breathe freely while inside for the first time since we'd moved in!!  Plus, the nasty odors that had been present were also about 90% gone.  Any remaining odors seem to be from places they couldn't reasonably get to (inside the walls behind the kitchen counters), so definitely outside the normal job.
In all, I fully recommend New Leaf Pest Control and Crawl Space to tackle your crawl restoration and/or pest control issues.
