I have nothing but great things to say about the entire process from start to finish from Miller's.
Salesman Leon Beck was a pleasure to work with. He was able to get me a very competitive price for my install that I was pleased with. I had obtained 6 quotations before giving Miller's a call after my co-worker recommended them and I don't regret that decision at all. His communication was via email for the most part which was most convenient for me. I had found only one
discrepancy with the air handler specified on the bid vs. the sales agreement and he resolved it within hours no questions asked.
The demo/installation crew was great. I believe the two guys names were Shay and Shannon but I could be mistaken. Sorry if I am wrong guys. Their work was great and I didn't have any complaints. The entire process took all day because my old system was original to my 1979 house. What a beast!
I had another guy come by a few weeks later to clean my air ducts but I can?t remember his name. I had to schedule a few weeks out due to my busy schedule. His work took a few hours and everything went well. I had taken some before pictures of a few places with my camera phone inside the ductwork just to verify the work and I was pleased with the results.
I had yet another gentleman by the name of Tom stop by after the entire install and verify/test/tune the system. Tom was great and happy to answer all of my questions. I told him I wasn't really satisfied with the condensation drain pump outlet so close to the foundation and asked him if he could provide me some tubing to extend the drain line another 15+ feet to a location away from the house near my drain spout. I was completely fine with doing the work myself but to my surprise, he stopped by a few days later and just did the work for me. He even left several feet of extra tubing and some mounting hardware if I wanted to reroute further. What a great guy!
The performance on the system is the best part though. I have averaged about a 40% reduction each month in my electricity bill for the last 6 months. My equal pay power bill was $130/month for 2 years and I now the last 6 months I am averaging $76.75/month. Please note that I never had air conditioning before and I wasn?t able to use my last central heating system because it was too costly to operate. We used oil radiators for 2 years straight in the big house to save money but the power bill was still high. Now our home is warm in the winter and cool in this super-hot summer we are having!! I can even control the
entire system from my bed or in my car before I get home with the WIFI access. What more can a guy ask for!?
