Matrix Roofing was an excellent choice for replacement of our roof, which was over 22 years old. They were very responsive to questions and contacts by email or telephone. Their bid was competitive. They were knowledgeable about the various materials and processes we needed. They completed the replacement of our roof in 2 days and cleaned up all debris. We were very pleased and recommend them highly.

Matrix roofing did a great job on my new roof at great price. Matrix was lowering price than other roofers but were using the same materials. I had another contractor on site and he said Matrix did a great job. I was preparing a house to be rented they were able to work it in a week early, before the renters moved in. Matrix went above and beyond all my expectations. Fast friendly service. If you need roofer these are the people to contact.

The service and job was great. I appreciated their very detailed quote. I did have to wait a while before they could get out to do the job (weeks after I'd paid 1/2 down on a $16k job) but once I was on the calendar it was done within 2 days. I would recommend them for sure.

Great work! I was kept updated about the progress and expected time frame and always got a call back. Very responsive at the office and in the field. The workers were so professional as well. Every bit of debris was cleaned up. I'm really happy with my experience.

On the whole it went well and any issues that I had were taken care of in a timely manner. I am a senior citizen and I am one of the fortunate ones that have a family member that has had a contractor's license so he kept watch on the project. Matrix dealt with his presence very well and when a confirmation on some issue came up it was addressed very professionally. For the many seniors that have to hire contractors it would be a little scary when one might give out the money for the project and not really know whether the job was done correctly, given there is no family or close support system. The job itself looks very nice and cleanup was great. Response to calls and e-mails was very prompt.

The work was done well was done well and the cleanup was good. Some of the roofing plywood was found to be in bad shape and was replaced for a reasonable additional cost of $40/sheet.
There are a couple of things I did not like. First, the original time estimate was 1-1.5 days. Even after finding the plywood needed to be replaced I was told 2 days. It actually took 3 days. Not a big deal but I do work at home and it would have been nice to know it would take that long. The other thing was that I was told there would be additional vents installed and this did not occur.

They did a great job. There were a few things but they were kind of small and we told them about them but it wasn't like there was any conflict or we weren't upset. A couple of the shingles made a few scratch marks on our windows. I told them about one but I didn't see the other window until this last week, when we had some window washers here but I know it happens because they took off our whole roof and they throw it into a big van but inevitably things happen, and some of the shingles do hit your windows I guess, they did ours. We had two estimates and he was like $1500 cheaper.

The estimate process was painless, and the Matrix estimate was significantly less than the other three we received. Ed's Economy Roofing didn't even want to consider our roof because of its pitch; Leak-Seal wanted to charge a premium for the same reason. Matrix did not charge anything extra. Leak Seal also was not interested in replacing our deck cover after it was torn off to replace the roof. The other companies also waffled on replacing the skylights, and gave us conflicting information about the availability of those skylights.
Matrix arrived on time the first morning, and essentially had the whole job done in two days. There were details to finish up which occupied small parts of another two days, but even with some difficulties they encountered they finished everything up expeditiously and to our satisfaction.
We also appreciated the fact that the workers were professional and not loud; no radios playing while they worked.
Joe owns the company, and would visit each day to make sure the process was going smoothly. The final bill was just as estimated.
Overall we are very satisfied with the job Matrix did and would wholeheartedly recommend them.

original roofer was substandard and matrix repaired my roof multiple times when problems occurrred. After repair jobs, hired Matrix to reroof entire second home. Job well done.

Initial contact was to check and repair a roof leak. Joe responded promptly and determined the leak to be at a vent pipe. He made the repair and only charged us $100, which was more than fair given the travel distance and what he had to do. We had previously determined that the roof likely was due for replacement and had received several bids. We asked Joe to also provide an estimate, which he did. After talking with Joe and reviewing previous bids, we determined that Matrix was more than competitive, and selected them to do the job. They worked us into the schedule and got started promptly, with the delivery of the container to collect and haul off the material from the tear off. Joe's crew did a great job with the tear off, taking care not to damage shrubs and grass around the house while taking the material off the roof. The installation went very well, and the crew were obvious pros at what they do. The finished product looks great and reflects a pride in doing the install right. They had to take down our Direct TV antenna, and went to great lengths to get it back in position correctly so that we'd not need to have a service call to get our service back. They were also extremely thorough in the clean up after the job. You literally couldn't tell they'd been here, except of course for the new roof. I only found a couple of nails that they missed. I was very impressed. Also would commend the company for having a crew that really conducted themselves in a professional manner. They were polite, neat in appearance, and didn't waste time or fool around while on the job. I thank them for a job well done.

After a slight change in plans due to circumstances beyond control, the installers arrived and made a day of it. I met Wendy at a home and garden show......we chatted and I really liked talking with her. Was happy to see that the company was on Angie's list. I scheduled a time for the estimate.....was comparable to the others. I had met Joe the estimator and Wendy unlike the other companies that just sent someone out and then emailed the estimate. I scheduled the work to be done and it was done. The workers were very considerate and cleaned up any mess that was left at the end of the day. I had some questions that I emailed Joe about and he actually took the time to come to my house and discuss things with me.

The owner of Matrix Roofing, Joe Marvin, gave us a bid the same day we contacted him. After inspecting our roof he thoroughly discussed what was to be done and went over the pricing of each item. We had received three previous bids from roofing companies listed on Angie's List but we felt that Joe understood what we wanted and his pricing was more reasonable (one company took a week to bid the job after we contacted them!). On the scheduled start date the Matrix roofing crew arrived at 7:30 am and worked liked beavers until 5 pm! They returned the following day and finished up the job, including re-roofing a small shed in our backyard. Everything was delivered on time -- dumpster, shingles, skylights, etc. - it all went like clockwork. The members of the work crew were pleasant to deal with and cleaned up everything before they left. We were very impressed!

Good quality work, Completed the work in 2 days with 3 total crew. Installers were respectful of property and owner. Layed out tarp and cleaned up after themselves. I was very particular about the nails left on the ground because of my kids, so i had them come back and make sure when i saw a few nails/staples on the ground. Joe used a magnet to make sure none were left, but still found a couple afterwards(like i said very picky). I also requested a few extra pieces of roof tile incase for future repair which he gladly obliged. One thing i was impressed with, although contract stipulated 50% dp he refused any money until job was done.
