Mases Concrete, LLC

I was so hopeful about these guys, but they're flaky. Hired them to do a stamped concrete patio and they were so positive and likable. First thing that set me off. In our contract it says they'll put 2-3 inches of crushed rocj / gravel and tamp it down. On the day the concrete truck was to come about 1/3 of the foundation has no gravel/crushed rock. I pointed that out and he was apologetic, and put some in. Second he put in holes for drainage but where he puts the drainage holes is higher than the patio so we now get puddles that don't drain. Third: when they put in the concrete and add color they put up nothing to protect the house, so they got concrete all over the house and then pray washes the house and strips away all the paint around a window and strips away some of the foundation paint. Leaves big blotches off cement. Where they put in expansion lines, they don't get color on them so 2 long strips of gray through the patio. Nelson says when they seal the patio they can use color in the sealer. SO they use color in the sealer the patio is now orange and they STILL don't get the 2 strips of uncovered cement colored. They had a family emergency so they rescheduled the sealing, then pushed it back again another week, then promise me they'll come when I'm back from vacation. Again the sealing of the patio is a mediocre job. I've texted and called them and they are not responding. They don't have the ethic of doing a high quality job, they go for ok quality job.

Mases Concrete is a nightmare. I am writing to share my extremely negative experience with MASES Concrete. Despite paying a significant cash deposit upfront, MASES has failed to complete our retaining wall project in a timely manner. Throughout the project, we have encountered numerous issues, including: Unnecessary charges: We were charged for additional services that were not initially agreed upon. Project delays: The project has taken significantly longer than anticipated. Incomplete work: The retaining wall is still not finished, and there are unfinished tasks such as burying drain pipes and securing landscape plastic. Poor communication: MASES has been unresponsive to our concerns and has used excuses to justify delays. Based on our experience, I strongly recommend avoiding MASES Concrete for any future projects. Their unprofessional behavior, poor communication, and failure to deliver on their promises have caused significant inconvenience and frustration. Once again, don't let Mases Concrete ruin your property and life.

I am very pleased with both the outcome of the project and the professionalism of the way it was performed. I intended to hire Mases again next summer to finish two or three more projects that have been on the to-do list for way too long.

They were very kind and did great job. They have good workers and we were very please.
