Everything about the job went well. Dan responds quickly to all questions, and he and his crew were punctual, efficient and professional. I particularly liked the fact that Dan was willing to help me decide if the paint colors I had chosen would actually work together. He has an excellent understanding of color and light. The other people I got bids from were much less willing to offer any opinions about color.

Score A-/B+ On the phone we discussed paint and recommmended one that would cover the bright yellow we had up in the room. No primer needed which was great. He showed up on time and did a gpod job in the room. The guy he brought to help was in charge of the small hallway forgot to paint a small panel of the wall. We didn't notice until much later because the new paint color was very similar to the old.

Dan is an exceptional professional painter with attention to details that surpasses all others in his field. His repertoire of skills are many; faux painting, an eye for color choices and painted wood cabinets that are transformed into a modern look.

Best interior home painters we have ever used. Highly recommend.

Dan was punctual for the bid and the work.  He did a flawless job painting the room and ceiling in a very bold, purple color.  We went out of town while he was working, and completely trusted him to finish the job and lock up the house when he was finished.  I won't hesitate to use him again!

Dan showed up to give price quote.  I received quotes from two other painters.  Although Marbless was a bit higher, I picked Dan to do the job.  I felt comfortable with him and my dog liked him!  One of the other painters my dog didn't like.  
Dan showed up on time and did an outstanding job.  He went over and above on prepping walls and painting.  He even gave me advice on painting!  I would highly recommend Marbless Works to anyone needed painting done.  I will use Marbless for further painting jobs!!

This was a promotion I got through Angie's List the result of which prompted me to use him a second time at our commercial office space.  He did both jobs quickly and flawlessly and I would use him again in a heartbeat.  He knows his craft better than most in his field and has decades of experience in technique and color.  He is on the pricier side if there is no promotion going on but if you are doing a big job - don't hire a colorist - just ask him to recommend color.  In that vein, you get two services for the price of one.

He was courteous, neat, efficient and professional.  The job was immaculately completed in good time.  Most importantly, he really knows paint and he knows light and how that impacts color shades.  He even picked out the perfect color for me.  He is the best painter I've ever had.  His pricing without an Angie's list promotion is higher than some, but in my opinion well worth it. 

Dan was able to start painting the day after we closed on the house and finished 80% of the work by the time we moved in one week later. He and his crew completed the basement rooms two days later. Both the dog and I were sorry to see them go, every interaction having been pleasant, respectful, and professional. Dan clarified my color preferences on ambiguous surfaces (slanted ceiling in great room, wall triangles between the steps and the railing in the stairwell, etc.) before painting. When my face revealed indecision, he gently made a suggestion and offered to redo it if I didn't like it. I accepted many of his suggestions and felt more secure about my choices knowing that the counterbalance of his judicious input was there if needed. The house looks great and my husband is well-pleased with the quality. Even though Dan's bid was the lowest, we almost overlooked him because he lacked the bravado of the other bidders. In contrast, his introductory visit was brief and full of quiet confidence. We chose him because his schedule fit our needs. I am so glad that we did!!!

 I had time to carefully select Marbless Works and I am glad  that I did.  The work that was done in my home was truly professional and the quality was excellent.
Dan the owner of Marbless Works  wants you to be happy with the outcome of his work.  He takes his time ensuring he is providing you the end result you are looking for.
He adjusted the scope of the project as we went along to accommodate what I wanted.  Dan and his crew were a pleasure to work with.  They were respectful of my time and my home.
I decided to go with Faux ceilings in two of the rooms and it added  a touch of elegance and a wow factor.  I was very pleased with how it turned out.  Near completion of the project I expressed to Dan that I was not thrilled with the colour I had chosen for the bedroom.  It just didn?t give me the feeling that I was looking for. It felt too bright.   Dan suggested that I do  a  faux process over the original color that would complement my art work and my faux ceiling.  He made me a sample and although it wasn?t what I would have picked in the beginning of the project, I trusted  Dan?s recommendation.  He completed the bedroom and I completely love it!   I walk into the  room now and think ? This is so Beautiful?
 

We purchased an Angie's List coupon for painting of two rooms, and Dan did a superb job.   He is prompt, attentive, communicative, professional, and a very talented painter.     He came by prior to the date of service to do a walk-through, made excellent color suggestions, and is a wealth of knowledge.     I echo the accolades Dan deservedly gets in his many other positive Angie's List reviews, and I can?t recommend Marbless Works strongly enough.

Dan was wonderful to work with.  He kept in touch before the job, and offered valuable advice about kinds of paint and shades.

He showed up on time always, and very efficiently and carefully completed the job in 2 and a half days.  It  all looks great, and we couldn't be more pleased.

His work demeanor was friendly but very professional.  He did have music and books on tape on while we worked, but he asked if we minded the noise first, as my wife and I  were both in the house-  which was  very considerate of him.  The music was very mellow and unobtrusive, too.

As the job went along, he gladly addressed any concerns we had about specific areas or problems.

I have a rather large kitchen and kitchen nook area with a lot of cabinets.  The original stain was not a stain I would have picked.  Dan came in offered ideas and helped guide us to the look we wanted. 
We decided to go with a warmer, richer look and have our island painted for a distressed look. It looks beautiful and I am very happy with our decisions.  It was worth every penny. 
He is trustworthy, communicated well and was always punctual.  We plan to have Dan come back and paint our trayed ceiling next.

Dan was very professional.  He stayed in contact with me over the holiday weekend in an attempt for us to meet prior to the day of the painting.  Although we didn't get to meet prior and discuss the work, it was not for lack of trying.  
Dan arrived exactly when he said he would.  He was very personable and friendly.  Dan helped my girlfriend and I pick out a new color for our kitchen, then called in the color to the local Miller paint store.  I went and picked up the paint while Dan started on the living room.  
Dan was very quick and efficient.  His work looks great.  After the work was done, he cleaned up and put all the furniture and appliances back where they belong.  
I plan on doing business in the future with Dan, I'm glad I found him on this site.

Dan is precise in his work and did an excellent job. He patched a hole, repainted the area, and cleaned up. Excellent job! Dan's card lists him as Faux Finishes so he may have changed the business name--but the quality remains.

I was a little skeptical hiring a Painter as I?ve seen a lot of bad work, many self-inflicted by  my hands, and have heard many horror stories of others? experience with painting contractors.  The project I was looking to contract was larger than I was prepared to take on anytime soon, so I hired Dan through a special he offered on Angie?s List.  Dan arrived on-time, was very professional, is a great guy, and I couldn?t be happier with the work he performed, which in fact was perfect.  I?m fairly meticulous and never have I seen such sharp lines cut in at the ceiling, windows, sills,  trim, and corners.  I feel fortunate to have found Dan, who I am contracting with for all future painting projects.

I bought this through one of Angie's deals "painter for a day" in April of 2013, but didn't have them paint until September. I needed to have my ceiling repaired due to an upstairs plumbing leak that damaged the downstairs ceiling. Since I already had paint to match the ceiling and that job wouldn't take all day I decided to have two of my bathrooms repainted Marbless owner Dan Ramey was very professional and even helped me select a color for the downstairs bath which was absolutely perfect! My color selection for the upstairs bath, not so perfect, but all on me. I suck at color selection, next time I'll let Marbless choose the color! He did an excellent job and cleaned everything up really well. Not a speck of splatter or paint anywhere it shouldn't be. Great job!
