The county inspector found 33 things wrong! He said he hadn't seen that much wrong with a kit home in a long time. Even the required earthquake protection straps was not installed correctly. I WOULD NOT HAVE THIS GUY BUILD A DOG HOUSE FOR ME!!!!!! I fired him, and have CCB complaints going along with a lawsuit. He even threatened me by email and phone calls that he would own my property, and own my house. This guy is trouble, and I would be happy to talk to any potential customer about the details.
Description of Work: Mark Colville contracted to build a kit home to be delivered onsite. He used inferior, unlicensed subcontractors and was onsite to supervise them approximately 1 hour a week. He was to take components of the kit home, oversee the foundation work, and complete the home. His roofing subcontractor took 6 weeks to complete a metal roof that should have taken 3-5 days! The floor was not level, and the roof trusses would not match with the walls. The unlicensed crew had built the pony wall from the foundation center section too high, and the roof would not fit. His solution was to cut down the floor, and make the roof trusses come down to the wall. This created a low spot in the sub-floor, and had to be leveled with a band-aid fix.
