Their installers are top notch.  They know their flooring and they are very responsive.  You would not know you are going to a large chain.  They treat you like they are a small town hardware store.  They have great service, great prices, and great follow-up.

Their bid was the lowest, but we preferred the way the Alside Windows were made and installed. So we rejected their bid. They were very pleasant to deal with.

After researching dishwashers and dishwasher prices, we went to Lowe's to purchase one.  However, our local Lowe's did not carry the model we wanted.  The young man there looked up the other stores in the area that  had it in stock according to the computer and called to verify whether it was indeed, in stock.  At one store it wasn't.  His work saved us a trip.  So, the next morning I go up to the Lowes in Vancouver, the salesman there was very helpful.  He answered all my quetions in a professional manner, sold me the dishwasher and connector kit, made the arrangements for delivery and haul away, verified that the dishwasher we wanted was in stock and took me to a cashier. The entire transaction took less than 20 minutes....Fast forward to delivery day (or the night before).... I find out I have a schedule change and cannot be home before 9 a.m.  I have a morning delivery scheduled.  I call the store number on my receipt.  The woman who answers  (no transferring of calls, the phone was answered by someone who knew how to handle my question!) listens to my dilemma and tells me to call the store in the morning and ask for "Delivery."  She assures me it will be no problem.  I call the store in the morning.  Press "0" for operator, ask for "Delivery" and am transferred to the man who is handling deliveries.  He asks for my name and from that verifies my street.  I explain that I cannot be home before 9.  "No problem," he says, "I'll route it so that I'm there after 9."  And he was.  In fact, he was there shortly after nine, which meant I didn't spend the morning waiting for delivery.  He and his partner carried in the new dishwasher, took out the old, handed me the dishwasher connector kit, had me sign a receipt and were gone in under 15 minutes.  They were efficient, pleasant, and all around really nice!  I highly recommend Lowes of Lacamas Lake and their delivery service.  And I must say that there is a definite advantage to dealing with companies who have their delivery services in-house rather than contracted out. 

I used a contractor and he was excellent. It was a huge 90-gallon water heater and took three hours to install it. He was right on time and was very careful not to mess up our wood or tile floors.

Estimates were done promptly and the scheduled work was done on time. The complete job took about 5-6 hours. The workers were professional and were careful to remove shoes while working inside. One of the patio door windows had a scratch. Lowes arranged for a replacement window which was installed by the manufacturer about two weeks later with no problems.
