JK Remodeling

My husband and I needed help getting our home ready to sell. Joe and his crew were available immediately to give us a quote, and the work started about a week later - since we were on a tight timeline we really appreciated their prompt response. The quote was verbal - $600 a day for Joe and his crew, with a three day estimate - plus the cost of materials. We were a little concerned when the guys knocked off for the day at 3 pm (after lunch breaks and material runs not a lot of work appeared to be getting done) and in fact it did take an extra day to finish the job - however Joe didn't charge us for the additional time. The work itself was great - there is no way we could have gotten the deck and patio looking that good on our own! There were a few odd shortcuts that were made in order to make the job go faster (i.e. the deck steps are not quite level), however we did tell Joe that time was the most important thing to us, as we had some deadlines with the real estate agent.

Joe did more than finish up a project; he attended to all the little details that make a remodel look great. He had to custom mill molding to tie it into the original (1922) style which took numerous cuts and a great deal of patience and determination. He had to rip boards again and again to get them to fit perfectly so the transition from old to new looked seamless. He was willing to tackle any part of the project which I thought lacking and give me the result I hoped for. His enthusiasm and dedication was unflagging.
