Description of Work: I had an estimate from Ford to replace two wheel bearings for over $1000, this company replaced one for only about $400.

Description of Work: kept changing price and adding new things that had to be done. Wanted to charge for taking apart and putting back together the same parts 3 times instead doing it once because all 3 parts were conected. They implied that they would charge extra because they couid't get one of the parts off. The price should not increase because of the ability of the person to do he job. t took days to get the car back whilr they tried various things to get us to pay extra. Honest should NOT be part of their name.

 + -1 moreDo not use Honest 1 Auto Care..they charged me more then what they said and they are twice as much as other repair shops in town..also told me I needed spark plugs at 60,000 and my maintenance guide says 100.000!!! Bad job!! The guy out front told me a price then when I disagreed he went to the back to talk to his boss, he came back and told me the boss accepted the discount. I tried to pay before the work was done but he wouldn't let me, he said it's bad practice to pay first...I would have seen the total at that point and stopped the work! Mike the manager told me he used the same maintenance system as Firestone, I went to Firestone and they said "replace spark plugs at 100,000 miles" So the manual, Ford dealer, Firestone and many other shops in town say 100,000 miles but Honest 1 says 60,000 mile...great for him bad for the customer.
Description of Work: I went in for an oil change...they said I need more work then was really needed.

 + -1 moreThey were good. Maria the receptionist was very responsive and took the time to double check the correct grade of oil I needed to use for my car.
Description of Work: They changed my oil. I brought in my own oil, which saved me a ton of money. It was nice that they allowed me to bring in my own oil.

 + -1 moreThe services were fine, but that is not what impressed me. It was the FIRST TIME ever I have taken my car into a mechanic and not gotten a list of things that need to be done to the car. They did the diagnostic and everything came up fine (we take pretty good care of our car) and then did the services we asked for. It did take longer than they had estimated, but that was ok.
Description of Work: Transmission Flush and wheel alignment.
