Excellent, Shane Kennedy does outstanding work an is super on his follow up. I have recommended Hi Tops to several friends since I had my own roof done and he not only has been very competitive with his pricing but they have all been very happy with the results.

It was excellent. They've been working for us for years. They did a good job. They're pretty timely. We talked to them on the phone. It's a family company.

I called and left my number. I received a call-back within 30 minutes. Shane Kennedy was at a nearby hardware store. He offered to come by as soon as he completed his purchase. He examined the roof vent covers and found one that had failed and was leaking. He had a new cover with him, which he used to replace the defective cover. He also inspected the roof and found some shingles that had been damaged by wind-blown tree branches. He replaced the defective shingles. Shane is friendly and professional. He said the roof would last about 5 years before it needed to be replaced. He also offered advise on roof maintenance.

He was very reliable, gave us quick service, was professional and reasonably priced, When we need a new roof in a couple of years, we'll definitely have him do it for us. Outstanding job!

Our roof had a lot of moss on it and there was mold on the inside on the north end. I had four or five roofers come out. All but two of them didn't even diagnose the cause of the mold, they just wanted to replace the shingles. One other roofer (Mike Warner) actually pointed out that we had a ventilation problem and gave us a quote to fix the problem in addition to replacing the rest of the roof. Shane was the only one who pointed out that, if we just replaced the roof on the north end and fixed the ventilation problem, we could just clean the rest of the roof and it would last several more years.
It took us a few weeks to decide what we wanted. After I returned the contract, I didn't hear anything; I had to call Shane a few times to verify that he received it and to schedule a time to do the work. It would have been nice if he had communicated more proactively, but it was a minor issue and definitely worth dealing with in exchange for having someone I had confidence in.
The work itself went very well. Everything was done quickly and cleanly, and in the amount of time predicted. I will definitely be calling Shane again whenever my roof needs work.

They are really very good. They don't sub contract other people, they do the roofing themselves. They are excellent in everything. They are very honest and their price was reasonable. They were really easy to work with and talk to. They weren't upset when you say you're going to get other bids. I had two other roofers in agreement with what I need to do, they were just trying to use scare tactics on me and their price was just huge.

Totally pleased with the roof and the job done.

On Sept. 22, 2009, when I awoke to rain pattering on my bathroom floor, I feared the worse... new roof. I called Shane Kennedy. Again, he responded quickly, and came that day. He discover a leak around the roof vent. He insulated the vent, made the repairs, checked all the other vents, cleaned my roof, and put some kind of a preservative coating on the roof. The repair cost was very reasonable, $150. He secured the roof in other ways too, but I don't know the terminology. He was very encouraging about the future of my roof -- I am grateful to Shane Kennedy. He is so professional, a roofing expert, extremely fair about the charges, and so obviously cares and takes pride in his work. He could have really sold me a bill of goods, taking advantage of my lack of knowledge about my roofing needs. I highly recommend Hi - Tops Roof Construction for all roofing needs.
