They've been around forever. We've had all of our animals there. It's great over there. They're all very caring and nice. Our animals love them. They interact just fine, really caring people. He's been around forever, Dr. Slocum. We've been going there at least 12 to 15 years. I think they're competitive on price with everybody. They are very very professional. They're close to us too.

They gave me excellent service. They take walk in service, the staff is extremely friendly. 

The cost is very reasonable, I have never had a long wait time.

I liked them, and I thought were very good. The service was very good. The environment was like any other pet hospital. It was fine. I thought the vet was very reasonable, they didn't try to push unwanted or unneeded services, and I would recommend them.

I took her in at 9:30 in the morning and picked her up at 4:00 pm she had some teeth pulled, but she was happy as ever when I got there. They updated her shots, gave her some drops for infection and we were done. I have been going to the Hazel Dell Animal Hospital now for about 6 months now and I think they do a great job. You don't have to make an appointment except for surgery and stuff like that, and I have not had to wait very long before it was our turn and they are open Saturdays.
I have been to other Vets in the area or tried and I can't say I was overly impressed with any of them. My reason for seeking out a new vet was a heart breaking experience. My vet at the time was M-F 9-5 and no emergencies needless to say by the time I found someone who would give me the time of day it was too late.
I have 3 little dogs under 5 pounds and they are my babies and I am very fussy about how they are treated, if they like the people that are handling them and the cleanliness of the facility. So far we have had many vists a complicated surgery, multi teeth cleaning’s and shots. As long as I have animals and they are in business I will continue to take my fur babies to Hazel Dell Animal Hosp.
I don't write reviews but I believe they do a great job and they care, so I made and exception.

We have been taking our dogs to Dr. Slocum for many years now, he and his staff are very professional and caring. I would recommend this Vet to anyone who truly cares for their pets.

The overall quality is very good, great staff friendly people and would use them in the future.

When I had to put my dog of 15 years down, the veterinarian actually was so good about the death of my pet. He even said a prayer. It was so special. They made the situation easier. If I had a pet that was dying, I would want him to be there. They look at the pets as family. When I go, I take all my pets in at one time and they only charge me one office visit fee. The vaccinations and other services are very affordable.

Dr. Slocum and his staff are very professional and very caring about you and your pets. Whether we've gone in for shots or spaying and neutering to the more challenging issue of putting an animal down, he and his staff are always there with the right support, care, and love. I just can't say enough nice things about him and his office.

THE PEOPLE THERE SHOWED GENUINE CARE FOR THE ANIMALS WITH PROMPT, FRIENDLY SERVICE. THE FACILITY IS EASY TO FIND WITH EASY FREEWAY ACCESS IN THE HAZEL DELL AREA.

THE EXPERIENCE OF PUTTING A PET DOWN IS HEARTWRENCHING, AND I FELT THAT THE DOCTOR AND STAFF WERE VERY CARING AND THOUGHTFUL. THEY ALSO MADE SURE I KNEW EXACTLY WHAT AND HOW EVERYTHING WENT DOWN. WALKED ME THROUGH THE EXPERIENCE STEP BY STEP.

DR. SLOCUM IS A VETERINARIAN PAR EXCELLENCE. HE AND HIS STAFF HAVE BEEN INSTRUMENTAL IN KEEPING SOPHIE ALIVE ALL THESE YEARS. THEIR CONCERN AND CARE MAKE OUR VISITS PLEASANT AND WORTHWHILE.
