I was out of town when the work was done. When I came back, I noticed the work was complete. They used a lot more bark chips than I expected. In addition to cutting weeds, they cut down some existing plants. The grass was short as expected. About a week or two after the work was done, I noticed that someone had sidecasted soil and weeds over the edge of my back yard onto a slope that leads to a creek (not my property). The material was fresh, so I took pictures and emailed the company contact with a request for him to return my call regarding the sidecasting. After a week went by with no calls, I called and left a message. No one returned my calls, but I did get an email reply asking me not to bother them with this.
