Romero and Jose created and built two new water features for us. We couldn't be more pleased. They are masters and very creative at what they do. It was obvious that they took great pride in their work and both water features turned out even more beautiful than we had hoped for. Our neighbors have commented how they also enjoy the sound of our water fall while sitting on their deck. Romero and Jose added plants that complemented the water features perfectly. We also upgraded our landscape lighting. We appreciated Eric who coordinated the project. If there is another opportunity, we would definitely go to Greenhaven first for our needs.

On 2-1-2016 Enrique came out from Greenhaven Landscaping,

Inc. to clean and trouble shoot my waterfall and pond. The water feature is

going on ten years old and I had been unable to get it up and running again

after I had shut it down to clean some filters a few months back. While shut

down we had experienced a lot of stormy weather and the pond was filled with

leaves and debris that normally my skimmer would have keep out of the water,

consequently my pond was in desperate need of a cleaning and I feared whatever

was keeping things from functioning was going to be expensive to repair. In

addition to the stormy weather I mentioned I must confess to having had health

issues the previous year which meant that I had not worked with my pond plants

or been able to physically maintain the pond at my usual level, in short it was

an embarrassing extreme mess. Greenhaven never made me feel as if they were

judgmental about my contributions to this mess I found myself in; they just

really seemed to want to help. Enrique was punctual and very personable, it was

obvious from the very beginning that he was very knowledgeable about water

features and he took the time to talk with me in depth about the previous

history of the functioning of the feature, how I normally maintained it and

what my concerns were with what was going on with it. Enrique did the best job

of anyone I have had out to clean that pond in the last 9 years! It now

sparkles and looks like it did when it was new! Let me tell you he was

extremely meticulous but fast and efficient in his work. He took a job on that

it turned out probably should have ended up being a two day job and managed to

do it in one. He found the problem, solved it and then went through with me in

detail what he found that was going to be a problem for the future with my

ageing equipment. I never felt like I was being sold future work only that I

was being given professional, friendly advice that would save me money in the

long run as I could replace a couple of small things in the near future in

order to avoid a more expensive outcome. They could have just ignored those

small problems and let me spend big bucks in the future to replace my pump but

it is obvious that the company and the people they have working for them are

all about excellent customer service and reputation. I need to mention that

they never charged me extra when the job turned out to be more complex than

originally quoted; they stuck with their bid in order to meet my needs. They

have treated me like gold from the very beginning; Rick (he designed it for me

all those years ago) took my personal phone call about the pond when I first

couldn't?t get it up and running and on his own time ran out here to Washougal

with a tool he had to help me. I have posted another review about when Brandon

came out for the bid you should read. I will never use another company for

service in the future.

.I contacted the combined Waters Edge and Greenhaven
Landscaping, Inc. for an estimate on some landscaping needs but primarily cleaning,
trouble shooting and service on my water feature which is going on ten years
old, originally designed and installed by Rick of Waters Edge. Brandon returned
my call well within two hours and quickly set up an appointment that worked
with my schedule to come out and assess what my wants and needs were. Brandon
was punctual for the appointment and very personable as well as extremely
knowledgeable. He made me feel comfortable right away in that he knew what he
was doing but was very willing to listen to what my vision was for my
landscaping as weIl as what I could afford to achieve and wanted out of the
company at this time. We discussed how the space was being utilized and what I
wanted to ultimately achieve. He gave advice on everything he saw as he walked
the yard with me but never made me feel like I was being lectured or feel as if
I was being up-sold on anything. There was no pressure which was a nice change
of pace when getting an estimate for work to be done. It was obvious that he
has pride and takes a great deal of joy in what he is doing. He got back to me
with a written professional estimate within two days as promised and was able
to quickly schedule me in for the next appointment. He broke everything down
for a total picture so that I could choose what I could afford to achieve on
the next visit and giving me a way to estimate for future work I may wish to
pursue. I am extremely happy with the decision to call them. I will post again
as work progresses.

The crew showed up on time as promised.  Eric went through the work list we had agreed on.  It was necessary to make some slight changes which was fine with both of us.  Job completed in about 1 1/2 days.

I interviewed two companies that specialize in water fall construction in Clark Co. The patio was second consideration to the water feature but both companies were eager to do both projects. I relied on how the two companies looked at my situation and gave me their recommendations and that is one major reason why I liked this firm--Rick Hooks, the owner gave considerable thought to the design and had two recommendations on the location of the water feature and the patio. Work was on time and things went well. Unfortunately the liner leaked after the install but the foreman came out and worked to discover the leak and fixed same. I also had some pick up work after the job was completed that I thought needed correction and the foreman did so promptly. The patio looks great and everything looks really fine and is very enjoyable to view and relax. I would only suggest if you have any changes from the quote to confirm pricing before proceeding but that is true of any construction  so that is not a criticism.

They maintain that and I have been pleased with them. We had a little trouble with the contact for the first meeting. The individual was very busy, and once we had it scheduled he was prompt. The service was just excellent!

THIS COMPANY HAD INTERNAL PERSONNEL ISSUES AND A SERIOUS LACK OF INTERNAL COMMUNICATION. THIS CREATED COSTLY AND TRAGIC RESULTS FOR US, AND IN THE FINAL PRODUCT. THE WATER FEATURES THEMSELVES, INDEPENDENT OF THE OVERALL PROJECT LOOK GOOD, BUT WERE EXTREMELY COSTLY AND WE HAD MULTIPLE PROBLEMS AND DELAYS ALONG THE WAY, INCLUDING LEAKS OF SURFACE WATER INTO THE SYSTEM, BREAKAGE OF A SEPTIC LINE, BREAKAGE OF A PHONE LINE, A NEAR MISS ON THE POWER LINE, AND MANY THINGS JUST LEFT UNDONE.
