Very unreliable. Did part of the job. Promised to finish the job multiple times. but was a no show over coarse of 9 mos. One time came to view a dryrot problem. Dug into soffit leaving a mess on the ground and hold. Can believe this company is still in business doing this kind of work!

From start to finish, everything went great. We had several companies come out and bid Hipolito set up a time to meet with us to discuss the bid, ask questions and help us make a sound decision. I would recommend giving him a call.

Very badly. They were not communicative, did not show up when they said they would, took way too long to complete the job, left our house looking like a Holstein cow for months (after stripping off some of the old paint and applying a white primer), did a very bad job removing old paint and preparing the surface for the new paint, and then when i finally complained about it they hurried up and finished in two days - and it showed. There was overspray everywhere, missed spots, and they left the yard a mess. They're great for roofing, but they are NOT recommended for painting.

We were about to give up on getting our roof redone this year because everyone we received bids from was astronomically priced and/or they were unable to start our roof until the fall. Then, because of the reviews on better business and a few from Angie's list, we called Gonzalez Eagle Roofing. I'd say that was the best decision we made this year. Within a few days Jesus came out to measure our roof and show us some options on shingles, then later that day he sent an email with a bid. Within a few days of the bid I was on the phone with Hipolito (the owner) and I agreed on when the roof would be done and the final price. The old roof was torn off before lunch, new plywood was installed later that afternoon, and the ice/water shielding was finished that evening. Jesus and Hipolito were in constant contact, the workers were super hard working and considerate, and they finished up in two and a half days. Without saying anything they installed more ventilation and, because we have a low-sloped roof, they installed several protective factors to ensure longevity in the Oregon rains. We can't say enough about their professionalism, integrity, and kindness. We could go on about how wonderful they are but in the end, the best review I can give is that if we need to replace in the future we will definitely call Gonzalez Eagle Roofing!

We just had our roof replaced by Eagle Gonzalez Roofing an d my husband and I are very happy with the results. We had an old cedar shake roof that we wanted replaced with 50 year shingles. We got several bids and decided on Eagle Gonzalez. Hipolito's price turned out to be the best but the reason we went with him was because we felt he was honest and fair and someone we wanted to do business with. Some of the other bids/presentations left us feeling like we had just walked out of a high pressure used car dealership. Hipolito answered all of our questions and used all the same top quality products as the other guys. He also came in on budget. We have a very steep roof and a very difficult yard to work in due to it being on a steep hillside. Needless to say the job was a difficult one. They went to work right at 8am on the day promised. The tear off created an amazing amount of debris. I was so impressed right off at how hard these guys worked getting it cleaned up. Even my neighbor commented on how hard they worked. They were also very polite to my husband and I. They cleaned up after themselves every day before they left. The roof turned out great. We love the way it looks. I would definitely use Eagle Gonzalez again and would highly recommend him to anyone considering a new roof. It was a pleasure working with Hipolito and his crew.

They were amazing! I had some reservations at first, in that they were ready to go to work with only a verbal bid and a handshake. They were the low bid, and came highly recommended, but I said I needed the proposal in writing. What I received was a very detailed proposal. They protected my house and plants during tear off and throughout the entire project. I was initially sad when I noticed they removed roof vents that were installed only a few weeks earlier by an Energy Trust contractor, until I saw that they replaced less expensive plastic vents with high-quality metal ones. In fact, everything they installed was the highest quality available. There was unexpected dry rot beyond what was covered in their bid, and that's where some contractors will really dig into your pockets. Not so, as they installed a number of additional sheets of CDX Plywood and a few 20 ft 2x6s, for which they only charged an additional $250. Very reasonable, as they had to get and cut that additional material. I did roofing when I was younger, so I know what to look for in workmanship. Everything was done to perfection. In fact, I'm known as being picky, and in every aspect they exceeded my expectations. When completed, they cleaned up my yard so it looked better than when they started. They took extra time to ensure there were no nails or roofing leftovers anywhere. I have recommended them to friends and neighbors, as they're reasonably priced, but are providing top quality products and services. Without reservation, I would also recommend them to you.
