+ -1 moreI immediately called to see what the issue was. I reiterated that the website verified the area and date as available. The representative said there were no providers in that area. I gave her the name of a florist I use there that I know delivers and she said that florist won't work with the company. I can see why, with this type of incompetence who would want their name associated. They refuse to try to find a florist in the area and said they would refund my payment or mail a very late gift. So I had to call local florist to see if any could delivery on such short notice. Fortunately Jerry's Florist Shop said they would deliver today, on my Mom's birthday with no problem and for slightly less than Gift Tree. I would never recommend this company as the website and employees are not aware of delivery areas or dates available which are the two most important pieces of their business.
Description of Work: I ordered via the website on 10/20/15 for flower and gift delivery on 10/23/15. According to the website this delivery area and date were available. This was for 83 year old Mom's birthday. I have used many different gift websites and florist over the years with no problem of delivery to her area. I checked the status several times, the last being around non on the 22nd and all was in order. When I checked by voicemail and email on the morning of the 23rd there was a notice that no delivery could be made and the only option was to mail a gift for delivery next week.
