I found Steve and his team to be very professional and friendly. They did an amazing job on my deck and i couldn't be happier. Steve provided many samples for me to look at so i could make the right choice for my deck which was very much appreciated. I would highly recommend Gardner Custom Construction LLC for any of your construction needs.

Badly, its one of the worst siding jobs my house inspector said he' seen. He didn't use the metal tabs required at butt joints, left space's as large as 1/2 Inch between butt ends, didn't install vapor barrier under the new siding. He then used caulking in a attempt too cover up the spacing's every where. Very bad job. Will have to be all redone in the future.

Steve was able to fit us in between other jobs so there was only one change to the start date.
Steve arrived with Jim and the two of them removed the old porch and reframed per our design and covered with composite decking. They gave us great ideas on certain aspects of the deck - i.e. picture framing the decking which turned out great.
Steve did suggest that we change part of our design but we were set on what we had planned and even he thought it looked great when the deck was finished.
Only reason why I lowered the Quality portion of this review to a B was because Steve didn't give the same detail to the steps that he did to the rest of the deck (framed to reflect what he had done to the main deck).
But otherwise we feel that Steve did an outstanding job. In fact we plan to call him again when we decide on the type of porch post wrap we want.
