Our laminate floor and carpeting job was promised to be done in 3-4 days. They started on Sept 9th. Finished on Oct 16th . 1) They ran out of supplies. Re-ordering caused delays. 2) The first contractor was not confirmed. It took 3 contractors to finish the job. 3) Some small finishing jobs were finished by Oct 9th. Loose carpet fixed on Oct 16th.

They did a wonderful job. This was done in October of 2013. I do not reacll the total cost but it seemed very reasonable

The Co. was recommended to us. I Did all the checkup's one should do! Toby was good to work with us, as we aren't morning people! The installing team of Keir and Carlos came on our A.M. timeline and Keir stayed late so as to finish the work in one workday. That was just fine with us! Keir cleaned up all the work area's and was very polite to have in our home!

WHAT OUR FLOOR LOOKS LIKE AFTER ONE YEAR We had LVT flooring put in July of 2015 by Floor Coverings International, and here is what we have to report. This is what happens when they use young inexperienced help. 1. Obvious bumps and ridges throughout most of the floor. The entry way is the worse where it looks like waves. They didn't want to remove the sub-floor because it was too hard to do, so they cemented over it. 2. Peaked end joints at about 90% of the connections. Because they did not allow for expansion around the perimeter. 3. Large gaps in the hallway, which are very noticeable, and irritating. 4. Long ridge between the Nook and Family room, because the wrong width of particle board was used and the old vinyl was not removed. 5. Evidence of nails coming up. Most likely because the wrong ones were used. 6. Very bad creaks in one place where we had water damage. Because the sub-floor was put in piecemeal. The water damage was because a water pipe had a nail put into it. The worker did not know that a metal plate in the floor means=don't put a nail here dummy. 7. Initially the owner did not want to fix the floor, but changed his mind after we obtained an independent flooring inspector, whose report pointed out all the problems with installation. 8. And get this: the owner of the company, who does no installation himself, wants to reuse the old flooring despite being damaged, and despite the manufacturer and other experienced flooring people telling us, and him, that it would be unwise to use the old LVT. You're basically asking for trouble, and we've had more than enough with this project. We are so unhappy with this flooring, that we are having someone else much more experienced entirely redo the floor.

The experience we had wth Floor Coverings International exceeded our expectations. Our salesman, Stan, came to our home bringing with him many carpet samples he felt would work in our home. He spent quite a bit of time with us that day and at the end of it, he had helped us make our choice. When the rugs were ready to be delivered and placed the installer, Jason, did a very nice job. He was a great guy and did his best to make sure we were happy with the placement of the carpets. In the end, we would highly recommend Floor Coverings International to anyone seeking quality floor coverings at a fair price and excellent customer service.

What I loved about Floor Coverings International is that they came to my house with carpet samples, based on a phone conversation about my preferences. I had gotten other bids, but the companies did measurements and told me to go to their showrooms to select carpet and determine the final price. I have a very difficult time choosing carpet in a store - there are too many choices, I don't know how the colors will look in the house, with my lighting, etc., etc. I find it nearly impossible to select carpet that way. I really didn't have any problem selecting from the many samples Monica brought to my house. She was very helpful.
I only needed to have the stairs carpeted in my 1928 house because the floors are oak. The stairs are fir and pretty beat-up looking. I  wanted them carpeted for safety and looks, but they also are quieter and quite soft and cushy. Nice!

The carpet installers arrived on time and immediately went to work.  They pulled out the old carpet and padding.  They went back to the shop and came with the newly cut carpet and installed it.  I was pleased that they were able to complete it in such a tmely manner.
 They failed to replace it and it was unsightly when I viewed it.  Because there was not any carpet that matched the one installed I agreed to a different solution.
Due to miscommunication, it wasn't until 8/29/2014 that a gentleman came out and measured the area; went over to Home Depot and got a piece of oak that matches the island and put ii into the area. 
I am pleased with the carpet, installation and the resolution.  I would recommend them and appreciate the follow-up of the representative Monica and the owner of the company.

Their sales process was really good and then I was satisfied with the work that they did.

Monica from FCI was very knowledgeable and helpful in our decision on the hardwood flooring, ceramic tile and carpet that we purchased from FCI. The employees of the contractor that FCI used for installing the wood flooring, ceramic tile and carpet were all exceptional. Overall we are very pleased with the results of the installations.

Workers Sam and Juan worked deligently and professionally for one week. They helped us move large furniture, and were courteous and considerate at all times. The house has many diagonal walls, so laying a plank floor required extra cutting. No complaints, ever. The job took a little longer than expected, but the resulting floor is perfectly laid.

From Susan, our estimator, to Sam the service provider, this was nothing but a pure joy of an experience.   Unlike most of your remodeling/repairs in the past.  These guys were professional, in all aspects of their service.  In fact when Sam left yesterday, our carpet looked better than when it was originally installed.  We would use these guys again, in a heartbeat.



The price was fair and reasonable, and the work was done on-time and in a timely manner.

Company is extremely reliable.  This is the third job these folks have done for us.  Would highly recommend them.

First Class Operation !!

Mr Tabor provided the bids for the work and was very professional all went well until the actual installation date.  The material installed had several chips in the edges and the company was quick to correct.  I was concerned however about and additional 250.00 charge for the undermount of the power room sink as this amount certainly seemed excessive but I was in no position to question the charge.
My concern and low rating is related to the relationship between the company and the individual that installed the tile.  
During installation it was determined that one of the counters needed to be shifted over which the installer was able to accomplish.  We also decided that we would install a backsplash in the kitchen.  As I understand what happened Derrick (sp) the project manager send the installer the necessary change order to complete both the counter move and adding the backsplash.
At the completion of the project I made the final payment to the company with the understanding that all costs of the project were included.  It certainly came as a surprise to me when I received a call from the installer informing me that the company refused to pay him for the changes that were requested and asking my assistance in getting his payment as Derrick was refusing stating that because we did not pay him he was not going to pay the installer.
Well that seems pretty inappropriate considering I was informed that my final bill included all charges. In reviewing my bill I do not see a specific charge for these items so I suspect the company failed to charge me but that hardly is the fault of the installer. Knowing the installer completed the work it only seemed right that he be paid so I have sent him a check for his additional labor and will not be using this firm in the future.

We were apprehensive about using a company that comes to your home with samples, but found the experience to be first class.  Monica was professional, called ahead to asked what kinds of things we were looking for, brought samples, explained the good and bad of different fibers and showed us samples of pads and explained the benefits of each.  After we picked out the carpet, she prepared a bid and printed it on the spot. It was also the best bid.  Monica left detailed information about what we needed to do in preparation for the installation.  The work was scheduled at our convenience.  They called ahead, were on time, were efficient, and cleaned up after they were finished installing.  Then they returned a few days later to check on the job and left information on the care of our new carpet.
