The experience with First Horizon was pretty good in terms of getting a mortgage. They basically had the second lowest rate I could find, and then matched the lowest rate when I showed them one that was lower. They were very professional throughout the process, and I would use them again in the future. However, getting a mortgage in the first place is somewhat of a "racket", but I guess it's a necessary evil.

Dave gave us his best rate right up front! We had been working with another broker while house-hunting for a year. When it came time to buy, we decided to do a little more homework and found that our broker just couldn't match Dave's rates and we wanted to go with the lender who seemed to not have so many junk fees. He also responds immediately to any question and is very professional, courteous, and straightforward. Save yourself some time and worry by calling Dave first!He seems like someone who will work for your business.
