Serg was in charge of the new tiling to be installed after the demolition had been done by the remodeling company, 'On The Level' who I had contracted with to handle a partial remodel of the bathroom. It involved the removal of tile and backer board that had been installed approximately 30 years ago. Being able to compare the installation from 30 years ago to the installation that Serg preformed was night and day. Serg and his helper, Daniel, were always on time and actually arrived early each day. I've actually not witnessed before such precision and quality tiling. From the cuts and placement of the backer board to placing each tile, one by one, it was nothing short of STUPENDOUS! His ethics are not to be questioned as I don't think they come higher than his. Serg had noticed a pinhole leak at one of the new copper joints for the pipes in the wall and immediately told me. Had it not been for him, the wall would have been sealed up and I would have had a disaster on my hands. The tiling, the grouting and caulking is beautiful. If you are thinking of having any tile work done, look no further than Elegant Tile & Marble. Excellence all the way and you will simply love the work that Serg does. Perfect in every aspect.

Serge was fantastic! He was able to come out and give me an estimate very quickly, and was able to start the job within a few days. Every single day he arrived on-time or a couple minutes early. He was always quick to respond via text or phone. He was very helpful in making a few design decisions with the tile. His work was impeccable. I had the glass vendor out today to take some measurements for the shower enclosure and they commented that I had a very good tile guy because everything was so level. I was nervous about hiring a good contractor for this tile work. I could not be happier with the process or the end result.

Serge was great. He called back promptly and made an came to my house within a few days. His estimate was  reasonable. He came to do the work on the day and time we agreed upon. He helped me select a grout color and texture that matched my tile. He foresaw minor issues with my unique layout and helped me make decisions about the best way to proceed. He did a great job, especially given that my tile was handmade and the pieces varied to a small degree. I'm very pleased with how the project turned out and I wouldn't hesitate to work with Elegant Tile and Marble again.

Serge did a great job. He is so pleasant to work with and very easy and independent with good communication at important points. Serge notices and suggests small improvements we could do like polish the edges of the tile that will show on the ledge pieces. I just assumed there wasn't anything that we could do about that part. Now I can easily see this is a small but really nice detail to have been done. Even though he suggested this detail improvement of doing the polishing after bidding he didn't charge extra for it. 

This is the third tile job we've had Serge do and he is just overall great at his work and easy to work with.  We've had to wait for him to complete other work before he can get to us but it's been well worth it. 

Serge was great to work with, arriving early and staying focused with a fine eye to details. Serge is an artist he cares about how things are coming out.
On initial design Serge gave some ideas that were invaluable, he has a good eye and will give you his ideas but listens also to yours. I found that refreshing and he was happy to go along with my ideas even when it may not have matched his.
He knows the best products to use for good prep/foundation and to get the best life out of a project and that are easy care. Many tile projects are around lots of moisture so that matters.
We found Serge the dream provider of services at a good price. He does his own work so when you hire him you are talking with the individual who will do the actual project. This makes things flow and come out much better in my experience. In construction there are so many places where communication and expectations can fail.
I wish everyone was as simple and clean and clear to work with as Serge. Serge goes the extra bit as shown when after the project was finished and all paid for he called us because he wanted to put another coat of sealer on a part of the stone work.

Serge was always quick to respond, fair priced, and quality work and clean up.

Serge has to be one of the most professional, polite and considerate contractor's we have ever worked with. He arrived each day on time and ready to go to work. Serge told us what he would do each day and then proceeded to take care of business. He was very knowledgeable and gave many good recommendations on what would work best. He was meticulous in his work and really took pride in the end result. We intend to use him again when we are ready to do our next tile project.

Sergey was referred to me by Aleksey at AVA Construction who had done our wood floors (which are beautiful). I needed someone to tile a laundry room and guest bathroom. Sergey called me the same day I called Aleksey, and came over that afternoon. He provided a bid later that same day. The bid was better than others I had received so we hired him. He did an outstanding job. Professional, friendly, and exceedingly talented. He even came over on a Sunday evening to apply the sealant and color enhancer so that we could reconnect our washer and dryer the next day (something my wife appreciated more than you could imagine). I talked to him about the attractive bid he gave and he informed me he is able to provide a competitive bid because he is faster than most . No joke. He is fast, but the quality of the work is flawless. Really impressed and will certainly be hiring him again.

Sergey was pleasant, professional, and easy for both us and our decorator to communicate with. He responded flexibly and positively to a couple of changes we requested relating to the bullnose and grout and suggested ways to overcome problems encountered with the structure of our house. His work was PERFECT, and we love our new tile.

The work was all excellent, and Serge was great to work with. I don't know what percent of the total job that went to Elegant, but we were very happy with the whole project.

Sergey of Elegant Tile and Marble truly does elegant work! He was also a dream to work with: Very responsive, very polite, very patient, always cleaned up after the job, and had lots of good ideas. I am VERY picky and was very nervous about having the tile come out how I envisioned it. He was very patient with me trying to hand-pick the order of the tiles on the first bathroom shower - after that I totally trusted him for the second bath and both floors. He also really helped with the placement of the wall niches and I am totally happy with where they ended up. I was also a little nervous about my brand-new tub getting scratched in the process but there was not a mark on it when he was done. The work was absolutely perfect - and I am the type to see all the tiny details. Sergey is truly a master craftsman. My husband and I could not be more pleased with the tile work and the experience of working with Sergey.

PS: I kept forgetting to do my rating but at least I can also now report that there have been absolutely no problems over these past months!

His work was superb, he's a real craftsman. He was always here when we expected him, kept us informed about his progress and schedule. He laid thinset on Christmas Eve morning so that it would have time to cure and make up for time lost to other parts of the remodel.

Everything went very well. Sergey responded to my inquiry right away and came out on Saturday to look at the job. Since it was very small and we already had the tiles he came over ready to start work if we were ready for him. We weren't on that day but called him back the following week and he was able to start the next morning. He did a very good job and even went to the tile store where we'd made the purchase years earlier to see if they might have some more pieces since we thought we might be short. They didn't of course, but we loved how the final job turned out with the pieces we had. He mentioned concerns with the grout color and said he'd do a test before he applied it just to make sure it was going to look right. I appreciated that attention to getting the job right.

Sergey is very easy to communicate with. He consulted with us about all details that we might have a preference about (tile cuts and placement) and gave his very valuable input based on years of experience in the field. A number of times he made recommendations that no one else had thought of (putting metal protector pieces on tile edges in the door ways). He did all work in a timely fashion and his workmanship is meticulous. In addition, he keeps his work area extremely tidy and finished all grout/stone work with the appropriate sealing materials. You will absolutely get your money's worth from him. His bids are very reasonable and his skill, craftsmanship, attention to detail and communication skills are first rate.
