She explained things in very clear terms, repeating information when necessary and served as a real advocate for us during the entire process. Her straight-forward, but extremely friendly manner was very reassuring to both of us - we were a little nervous about buying in the current economic down-turn, but she went over the numbers, giving us all the information we needed to compare renting vs. buying and to understand the different costs, fees, etc. Even though she had to go out of town during the last phase of our negotiations, she left us in the care of her co-worker, Christine Hall, who stepped in and was just as prompt, helpful and professional as Diane was. We secured a good interest rate, saved money on our home inspection and learned some valuable tips through our many conversations with both Diane and Christine. Overall, Eagle Home Mortgage of Vancouver was extremely helpful and performed their services to a T! Our real-estate agent was equally impressed with their promptness and professionalism. We were able to close within 30 days of making an offer, even though this is practically unheard of currently.
