Got turned away on multiple occasions after making an appointment because they couldn't take us. Was charged $110 for an oil change. Would not honor their own coupon. Worst service experiences ever.

Went to test drive a car at about 11:00am. The sales person Steve Davis was at the KIA office and off we went. He told me about the car and all the features. When we returned he showed me several different cars with different options was very low keyed. I chose the one with the options I liked and we returned to the office to talk price. Like all dealers someone else is making the price decisons in the back. This went fine and I purchased said car in total it took about 3 hours from the time I walked in. Steve Davis was very pleasant to work with and never had a feeling that I was being pressured.

After researching prices of pre-owned vehicles and comparing auto sales company advertising I concluded that Dick Hannah Used Auto Department of Dick Hannah Auto sales was the most compelling in their guarantee to get anyone into a car they can afford without the usual hassles of back and forth price haggling and up front customer service. At first I was very impressed with the promises that the sales representative made during the negotiations and pleased with the trade in value they were applying towards my purchase. These promises consisted of a complete detailing of the vehicle, repairing the existing broken windshield; replacing body clips to the lower molding, lifelong tire replacement as long as I owned the car, and offered me a fixed interest rate that would allow me to follow through with the purchase. Satisfied with the deal, I signed the contract and drove the car the hour or so it takes to get home. I was prescheduled to take the car back to the dealership for the promised repairs later that week. However I received a call the next day from the Dick Hannah Finance department stating that the wrong paperwork had been signed and I needed to return to the dealership to resolve the matter. For my trouble (and the hour drive) they gave me a $5 dollar gas card...that I discovered only worked at their own gas station which was also distant from my location. When I arrived to clear up the paperwork error they claimed took place, I was given another contract to sign which they indicated to me was the correct contract, and when I signed it I could be on my way. Not being one who has a suspicious nature I figured everything was on the up and up and I signed the new document. It wasn't until a short time later that I discovered that the trade-in value they had originally promised for my old car was no longer applied to the purchase but worse than that the cost of that trade-in value were added to the bottom line figure that I owed for the new purchase!!! This placed the car at a higher purchase value than was discussed and agreed to by myself and the Dick Hannah representative. It also added an undo burden of the extra interest that was now applied to this new price! When I contacted the Dick Hannah Auto Sales customer service to point out this error (or fraud) made in the misrepresentation of the altered second contract, and the promises that their representative had made to me I was told that person no longer worked for the company and there was nothing that could be done as the deal I had made was with him. When I further inquired as to correcting the paperwork to accurately represent the trade-in value of my old car they stated that the contract they had on file made no mention of trade-in value of my old car. In essence they took (swindled me out of) my old car and actually charged me for doing it!!! I have never been so unsatisfied and completely taken aback by such underhanded, fraudulent, and obvious con (scam) by a business that claims to be reputable and works to benefit the consumer with less than perfect credit who needs an understanding friend in the auto business to purchase a car. What they did was target an individual they knew out of the gate wouldn't have the resources to engage in any lawsuits to seek legal satisfaction. ...and on a side note which is just as equally frustrating...when it came time to get those FREE replacement tires promised I was told that by performing the required maintenance from a reputable and closer facility which I was led to believed had been authorized by the Dick Hannah representative; I was told I had voided the replacement warrantee... so even that they took from me...

I walked out of there very disheartened, because they were going to charge me $600, and I didn't want all of that work done at that time. My friend did the work for $110. The labor is more expensive at dealerships.

IT'S BEEN OK. THEY TEND TO CHARGE FOR EVERY LITTLE THING, EVEN WHEN THEY COULD HAVE GONE THE EXTRA MILE AND PROVIDED THE SERVICE FOR LITTLE EXTRA COST TO THE COMPANY. THEY EVEN CHARGE FOR SERVICES THAT OTHER COMPANIES PROVIDE FOR FREE. WE PAID OVER $500.00 FOR A PROBLEM THEY NEVER REALLY RESOLVED, REPLACED A LOT OF PARTS ON THE CAR, BUT DIDN'T FIX THE INITIAL PROBLEM WE ASKED THEM TO.
