We had a complete remodel of our done home by Design Doctors. The end result exceeded our expectations. The house is beautiful. Justin and Cailin were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. We collaborated with them on the design, and they were great at offering suggestions. Undertaking such a project was daunting, but they made the process seamless. This is the best design construction business I have ever used! From the consultation for the removal of a "trip-hazard" shower stall to widening the bedroom doorways, they were spectacular. Start to finish — absolutely the best renovation experience we have ever had. They came when they said they would. They took great care to keep things clean. They listened. They worked professionally with no arguing between crew members. Cailin was exceptional in setting up everything and during our selection process. Dustin was the project manager and was extremely detail oriented. Peter was truly an artist in his tiling. All the trades were respectful and hard working. Everyone involved was professional and appeared to enjoy what they were doing.. We enjoyed getting to know them. The result was a master shower that was beyond our expectations.

I contracted Design Doctors to renovate a master and hall bathroom last year. We also renovated a fireplace in our living room. From the very first meeting with Justin the owner, and Cailin the designer, we knew DD was the right fit for our project. Cailin was a great listener and managed to design not only two stunning new bathrooms but improve the functionality of both rooms. We now have more storage, more lighting and two bathrooms that are easy to keep clean. During the construction phase we had the pleasure of working with project manager Dustin. Dustin was awesome to work with and always kept us up to date with daily communication. He was genuinely interested in making sure we were satisfied with every detail. My husband and I used Design Doctors Construction since 2009 to replace an old bathtub with an absolutely stunning shower. We were so impressed with the workmanship and the interaction with Justin and his crew that we had our entire house remodeled by them. We thought it turned out absolutely gorgeous!!! After my husband's passing, I moved to a smaller place in need of updating. There was no question what construction company to use. It has been 4 months of living in our dream kitchen designed and constructed by Design Doctors. Every - single - day I am awestruck at how amazing the kitchen is. The Design Doctors team is exceptional. From Justin, the owner, Cailin the designer, Marcus the Project Manager and the entire staff and subcontractors (a special shout out to Scott the cabinet guru), the project was done on time, on budget, and with so much care to the details -- even the little ones. We truly appreciated the stellar daily communication on status, changes, and ideas for dealing with the unforeseen. Everyone on the team was friendly, fun, dedicated and committed to excellent service. We've had a lot of people over to see the kitchen -- and jaws drop! The kitchen we started with was dark, dreary, dysfunctional, and not at all a joy to be in. The kitchen we have now is beautiful, and functional in the way a kitchen should flow as you work. When you walk in our front door now, and look across the dining and living rooms toward the kitchen, it coalesces with all the colors and styles of our home. We should have written this review sooner, but I've been telling everyone in real time that Design Doctors are the company to hire for any remodeling project. When we get ready to remodel a primary bathroom, we'll be calling them!

Very professional team! Their project leader worked with me to define a specific schedule to accommodate my work schedule and their team showed up exactly on the days they were scheduled. Design Doctors did a remodel of our bathrooms and kitchen this past winter We liked them so well and are so pleased with the results that we called them to paint the exterior of our home. As always, they did a great job. They actually listen to what you want and suggest ways to save money, choose the best colors and good materials. The workers are always courteous, efficient and clean up the job site. The job also included putting a new exterior skin on our shed door, which is an odd size and would be costly to just replace.

The remodel of a downstairs bathroom and laundry room was the second project that was done by Design Doctors. Once again, it went smoothly with all materials and work done per schedule. All crew are friendly and helpful answering questions. The most key aspect of working with Design Doctors is that from the planning and design phase, they are very up front on best options to maximize a space while explaining the associated costs. Once a decision is made, the process of scheduling takes over and a project does not start until all material and labor is ready to begin. As surprises happen along the way, and they do, Design Doctors are very good at coming up with solutions and build into their estimate a reserve cost that minimizes surprises. I highly recommend them and will continue to consider them for future projects whether small or large

From the first visit by Justin and Cailin, to look over my home and discuss the changes and additions I wanted to make, I was confident I'd landed in the right hands. I appreciated the thoroughness from which that visit took flight and as the time went on, and work progressed, it was evident I'd made a good decision to go with Design Doctors. Workers showed up on time, as expected, and each knew their craft and performed it with skill. My home needed almost every square inch dealt with so the remodel was extensive. Design Doctors was a perfect choice for our remodeling project. We added a master bath, office, and large covered porch to the back of our house. After meeting with Justin we felt he was honest & very knowledgeable. Our project manager Marcus was also outstanding. Having Caitlin, a very competent interior design specialist on staff made picking out all the interior finishes very easy in their complete showroom. All their employees and subcontractors had our plan and completed their jobs quickly & professionally. Every night the job site was clean & organized. We had a vision, but the completed project exceeded that. Everyone was respectful of our property & us. We’re very pleased with the quality of work & would highly recommend Design Doctors Construction.

Design Doctors is a great group to work with. Justin responds to emails and texts in a timely manner. Justin designed and created a unique gate to block a steep stairway. He was extremely collaborative and we made multiple adjustments to the plan as it was developed. When my husband was unexpectedly hospitalized, he installed grab bars by the toilet in the master bath (and installed a bidet, which required a new electrical outlet) and built a ramp in a tight window of time, enabling me to bring my husband home as soon as he was discharged. Both projects were of excellent quality. I have a fused bamboo deck, and Justin researched the correct material for cleaning and re-staining it. His team member did an excellent job. I wanted to change my range from gas, and he coordinated everything to remove the old range, cap the gas line, add a new electrical circuit, and install my new range. He also installed an exhaust through my roof for my fans in the bath and kitchen. I needed more insulation, and he arranged a licensed company to install it. I had a malfunctioning sump pump, and Justin was able to send me a plumber to replace it quickly. Justin Ross and his company are simply outstanding!

We chose the materials and they gave us a really good deal compared with other estimates we got. They were patient with us because we made some last minute changes. They gave us a date and the two guys came out and tore our old shower out and put in a new shower. It took about a week because there were a lot of things, such as plumbers who needed to do work. The shower is beautiful!

We contracted with Design Doctors for a full remodel of both our small bathrooms, partial remodel of our kitchen and a few miscellaneous items - building a kitchen cart from Wayfair, installing an attic stairway and a new front door. I was very pleased with all of it. They did quality work, all of the workmen were very knowledgeable, as well as polite and cleaned up after their work, and they fulfilled every line item of the contract. Our Project Manager was there almost every day. This was despite some problems posed by the previous work in the house and the setup of the house itself. For example, our kitchen counters and range were not level or level with each other. So they did extra work to make the new range and countertops fit and actually be level. Both baths were a complete re-do to add step in showers and new toilets, sinks, cabinets and sinks. We put underfloor heating in the master and my husband is loving it. I added a lighted mirror in "my" bath and it is great! They also suggested and installed a pocket door to save space. Thus is a high quality door, not like the rickety ones you see that go off track easily. We did not redo the kitchen cabinets but added handles on the drawers, a backsplash on both long walls, totally redid the lighting, all new appliances and undercabinet lights. The tile work is gorgeous and they added valances on the cabinets to hide the undercabinet light hardware, matching our existing cabinets. They also moved the location of the attic stairway as my husband did not like where our original opening "landed" in the attic after the stairway was installed. During construction our water heater began to leak and they helped us get it replaced promptly. We also added a bunch of kitchen outlets and had to have some breakers replaced during the work. It is all done as requested, looks wonderful and they met the contract without charging extra for every little thing. We did pay extra when we added a front door, not on the original contract, and for a different attic stairway, as the one we had did not fit the opening and would have required cutting into the roof trusses to use. Yes, we would use them again and are quite happy with the results!! Now enjoying our house more than ever!
