I do love my bathroom but I was a little disappointed in the organization part of making it happen. They were very nice. I went through their list and its exactly what I wanted. I even had given them examples of what I exactly wanted. Unfortunately, before the work got started, the person that I talked to had quit. One of the issues that I have was that they didn't think to look at what I really requested. They were suppose to save the faucet. We had communication problem. I probably wouldn't recommend them.

The job which was completed quickly; the only delays have been due to manufacturer not getting the material to us promptly as it was not in stock locally. What has been completed by the contractor looks great.
Description of Work: Repaired beams under bathroom (sagging floor) repaired floor, put in floor heating tiles, new bathroom cabinets. He re-installed new light fixtures, the installation of new sink is waiting on delivery of new marble top.

The contractor who did my siding and roof recommended this company. Because they had done such a good job for me I did not seek other bids. I was wanting a carport with a French door and small porch off the upper story over the carport.. installed over the concrete slab that predated my ownership and had been there a while. My house was built in 1935 and been remodeled several times. I opted to get a permit for the project because I have a hyper vigilant neighbor. Mike of Debs construction visited the county to obtain this permit. I live on a gravel road with only one property past me. We are on 1 acre lots. with wells and septic. Mike was told by the county that a septic inspection needed to be done and engineering approval. We did this which added an additional expense. after that was paid the county said I wasn't outside the easement (by 3 ft) and that my contractor should have know that. Maybe so but I gave him the benefit of the doubt We modified the plan to be just a porch and exclude the upper deck I had to pay for a second permit application and engineering.. I paid him $6000 in May and the project which ended up being only a porch was completed last week Sept 10. When they finally started I was to pay 2 permit fees and 2 engineering costs and although not what I had originally wanted was still nearly the same cost. Before they finished up they would leave their equipment for days at a time with no explanation. I felt this !1 thousand dollar project that had long delays wasn't a priority for them. Mike was calling me for money and there were unfinished items that I had to remind him of.

Casey was our contact person through Deb's construction. Everyone in their family business are very nice and helpful. He had us come to their office to see some samples of what we could do. We put in a new shower that was handicapped accessible, new sink, made bathroom and bedroom doorway larger for wheelchair accessability. The project went well, there was a couple days in delay in getting project completed, but that happens with any remodeling project! The end result is beautiful and functional for my mother-in-law. The care givers are particularly happy! What I like best is that the new shower doesn't look like a typical handicap shower. It is very stylish and will not interfere with the resale of the house when that time comes. Deb's construction team are honest, timely, professional, and are skilled at what they do. I would certainly use their services again and recommend them to my friends!

We requested a quotation for the work and received it within the expected time frame. Work started when we expected it to start and was completed when we expected it to be completed. Our home was treated with respect; all construction dust and debris was contained and removed. The work was performed to a high standard of quality and the very minor adjustments we requested to the project were taken care of promptly. It was very enjoyable working with this group and can recommend them for window/door replacement as well and remodeling services.

It went great! Kacey was responsive from the start, with a bid that was delivered on time. When his first bid was a bit more than we wanted to spend, he worked with us to pare it down to what we could manage. He worked with our schedule for demolition, gave us plenty of notice when we would not be able to access our closet (on the other side of the bathroom from the bedroom), and told us when the workers would be there. Bob, the main worker, was considerate of our space and time. He was pleasant but didn't spend a lot of time talking to us--he worked! The job was done of the schedule that Kacey proposed, on budget, and without a lot of mess. They cleaned up every evening before the left. We really couldn't be happier. And it looks GREAT
Description of Work: Deb's construction handled the remodel of our master bath. That included taking it back to the sheet rock--removing a huge fibergrlass bathtub/shower combination, removing the old cabinets & tile countertops, removing a tile floor. Kasey Kroon, Deb's son, oversaw the job. He & his worker, Bob, installed a tile shower, new shower pan, new floor, hooked up the plumbing for the new sinks, oversaw installation of the cabinets and the countertops. They painted and installed the fixtures afterward--lights, towel racks, etc.

I spoke with Deb on 4/3/12 about a bath remodel I wanted to do. I found Deb to be very professional and informative. We scheduled the estimate for 4/18 at 10am. Several days later I received a call from Mike, seems he was unaware that Deb and I had already spoken. I gave Mike the information on the scheduled appointment. On 4/18 Mike never showed up for the appointment. As of today I have not heard a thing from either Mike or Deb regarding his no-show. Would I recommend them? No.

I totally apologize for what happened. Mike was very ill at that time and it turned out he had to have open heart surgery. We were totally thrown off guard by this and were a bit of a mess during this time. He is fully recovered at this time and doing well but we did not take care of the member and there is no excuse for that. I am truly sorry. As you can see by our latest reviews, we are happily back on track. Thank you, Deb Kroon.

I think they quoted me around $11500. I think I got some alternate quotes and I got the job done for about half that price. So the price was primarily an issue. I don’t recall about their punctuality. I might use their services again in the future.

Make sure to write down what you want done. It is sometimes hard to communicate your vision over the telephone.
Description of Work: Mike Kroon gave an estimate to remodel our kitchen from the studs back to a full room. The work included wiring, plumbing, installing a new built-out window. New sheetrocking installing a porceline tile floor and installing appliances were also part of the job. We were very satisfied with mike's work. Although there were numerous sub contractors involved Mike held them accountable and as he said many times he "wanted to make us happy". We would reccommend him and will use his services again.

We were looking for an estimate to fix some window flashing and trim that needed replacing. This company did not seem to be the best fit for that in this case, because they are more in the business of replacing the windows themselves. If that is needed in the future I would definitely call them. They were very punctual, professional and helpful.

When it came time to remodel my 2 bathrooms 2 months ago, I didn't hesitate to get All Access Bath Innovations here to work their magic. Mike Kroon was the project manager when I had my kitchen remodeled 5 years ago. It still looks new today. At the same time, Kacey Kroon did an outstanding job of replacing all windows and cutting in 3 new ones. All Access Bath Innovations was once again the project manager for my bathroom remodel. The bathrooms turned out fabulous and due to the quality of work done by All Access, I'm sure they will remain that way for years to come. From start to finish their staff always had a calming affect on me when it came to decision making time which puts the customer at ease. With their trusted vast knowledge of the industry, my job was made easier. I am currently saving up for my next project and due to the level of quality and professionalism that has always been provided by Debs- Construction and All Access Bath Innovations, I won't hesitate to once again call them to do the work.
Description of Work: Completely gut and remodel kitchen. Remove all old aluminum frames windows and install new energy efficient windows. Cut in 3 new windows. New lighting in kitchen. All new cabinets and appliances. Replaced all hallow core doors with solid core doors throughout the house. Completely gut and remodel upstairs and downstairs bathrooms. New fixtures, lighting, plumbing, masonry work upstairs, tile floors. Sheetrock in living room and small upstairs bedroom. New lighting in living room.

We got three bids, and they were the lowest bidder. They were the lowest bidder because they figured out a way to take out a window that was better than anyone else. I had one bid that was $25000 and another bid that was $21000. We chose them because they had a better method of doing the windows. They were clean as a whistle. They did not make us take down anything. They were on time. They did have to reschedule because they had to lay off some of the workers because their industry is having some difficult times right now.

We requested an estimate for windows and Hardi siding. We were unsure of which window brand we preferred, and Mike went through the various models and gave his honest opinions of the pros and cons of each to help to help us select the best ones for us. Mike does not do the typical "they're all just wonderful" sales pitch. He is knowledgeable and honest. Not pushy. He even went out of his way to find samples of some unusual windows that we wanted to see, Mike and Kacey did the measurements and estimate. The estimate was very detailed, and at a fair price. When we requested some other options, that was no problem, and the estimate was updated promptly. We had a lot of questions, and Kacey took the time to answer everything. Kacey was always prompt, polite, and clearly knowledgeable. They seem to run a very honest outfit. We saw some of their work, and it's nice workmanship. Why didn't we pick them? We had the frustrating luxury of having 2 almost identical estimates for identical work from contractors that we found equally trustworthy and competent. It took us 2 weeks to decide on just 1, and it wasn't easy. I would not hesitate to call these guys.
Description of Work: Kroon's provided an estimate for replacing siding and 24 windows on a 2300 sqft ranch house. They really did much much more than provide an estimate. They patiently and thoroughly answered all our questions and provided all information we requested. Absolutely professional. Excellent service.

We talked to three companies before having our windows replaced. One of the companies is highly recommended on Angie's list, one solicited us on the phone and Kroon's was highly recommended by a contractor we have used and by several of our neighbors. It was difficult to choose between the company from Angie's list and Kroon's. I went out and viewed many of both companies previous installations and talked to a lot of homeowners (just knocked on their doors and asked about their experiences). Both were good. Kroon's was a bit less expensive for the same brand of window, but I chose a more expensive window, (Simonton as opposed to LBL) so ended up paying almost exactly the same as if I'd gone with the other company. In the end I chose Kroon's because I simply liked Mike. His son, Casey is their primary installer, though he works with a crew. They did a fabulous job. Casey is a real craftsman, and paid a lot of attention to detail. He listened and responded positively to every concern I had -- I guess you could say I am kind of picky-- and was unfailingly pleasant. Our house was built in 1981 and still had the original aluminum frame windows. The condensation was so bad that many of the window sills were beginning to rot, and I was constantly cleaning mildew and mold. A couple of years ago we had had some work done in the house, including changing the woodwork from dark fir to a light maple. At the time we were told that we shouldn't change the wood around the windows (what I've learned is called "the box" in the trade) until we replaced the windows. So now with my new windows I needed wood to match the wood that had been put in the rest of the house, and I did not want to do the finishing myself. Mike agreed that they would do that work for me and went to a lot of effort to match the colors and the finished job looks beautiful. We were also having the house painted and Kroon's was very flexible in working with the painters and the pressure washers, even adjusting their schedule so everything would work out to my benefit. Kroon's has been in business here in Vancouver for more than 20 years and has done many homes in this area. We were very pleased with them and I would recommend them highly.

They didn't show me any samples. They only offered 2 brands of windows. The complete job would have cost $2150. If I chose a different brand (Simonton), would have cost $982 more. The $2,150 was for Empire Specific windows. Salesman was prompt, he gave me brochures, rather than showing me samples. Their price knocked me out.

WINDOW SAMPLES ARE LARGE, BULKY AND HEAVY, SO WE HAVE A SHOWROOM WHERE CUSTOMERS CAN COME IN AND SEE AND EVEN TEST THE WINDOWS THEMSELVES. THERE ARE HUNDREDS OF WINDOW MANUFACTURERS. THE MEMBER IS WELCOME TO COME INTO OUR SHOWROOM ANYTIME AND LOOK AT THE MANY WINDOW SAMPLES AND LOOK THROUGH OUR CATALOGS. WE ARE ALWAYS WILLING TO LET OUR CUSTOMERS SHOP FOR THEIR OWN WINDOWS ON THE INTERNET, BUY THEM AND THEN HAVE US INSTALL THEM. BUT WE DO NOT HAVE THE SPACE TO PHYSICALLY SHOW MORE THAN THE SEVERAL SAMPLES THAT WE DO HAVE.

After many phone calls, inspections, e-mails, a written estimate, and a special Homeowner's Board meeting with Mike Kroon in attendance to go over details which were subsequently agreed upon, a date to start work was confirmed and homeowners were alerted. On said day, company did not show up. Via phone several days later, project manager said they decided not to do the work because they couldn't make enough money on it and it was too big of a project to undertake. Owner, Mike Kroon, was unavailable to take calls.
Description of Work: We are a small 14 unit condominium complex which was build 12 years ago and sided with LP siding. Needless to say, because it was installed without flashing, we have been having major water leakage with resulting wood rot. Mike Kroon had agreed to thoroughly inspect all units and repair/replace/recaulk all damaged areas. He gave us a written bid and at our HOA meeting, which he attended, we agreed on an amount of money he needed to start the work that next week. We only got as far as an inspection and a bid/estimate. Work was not completed as agreed.

THE MEMBER WANTED KROONS WINDOWS & REMODELING TO COVER UP A MORE SERIOUS MOLD PROBLEM THAN WAS ORIGINALLY DISCOVERED. IT WAS DISCOVERED AFTER WE DID THE ESTIMATE AT THE TIME OF THE INSPECTION THAT SHE NEEDED MOLD ABATEMENT. KROONS WINDOWS & REMODELING IS NOT A MOLD ABATEMENT FIRM AND IN ORDER TO START WORK WE NEEDED THE MORE SERIOUS MOLD TO BE HANDLED FIRST. WE NEVER HAD A SIGNED CONTRACT AND KEPT OUR WORD THROUGHOUT THE RELATIONSHIP WITH HER, NEVER TAKING ANY OF HER MONEY. ABATING THE MORE SERIOUS MOLD WAS THE RESPONSIBLE LOGICAL THING TO DO; PART OF THE ESTIMATE WOULD HAVE HANDLED SOME OF HER MOLD PROBLEM – BUT THE INSPECTION SHOWED IT WAS WORSE THAN ORIGINALLY REVEALED. SHE WANTED US TO DO THE JOB ANYWAY DOING SOMETHING THAT WOULD HAVE CREATED A PROBLEM FOR HER IN THE FUTURE AND A LIABILITY FOR KROONS CONSTRUCTION & REMODELING. WHEN THE TOTAL SCOPE OF THE MOLD PROBLEM WAS FOUND WE DIDN’T WANT THE LIABILITY ON OUR LINES. THE MOLD NEEDED TO BE ABATED. SHE DIDN’T WANT TO HANDLE IT FULLY THUS OUR HANDS WERE TIED. I HAD ANOTHER ESTIMATE FOR 8 WINDOWS, KROON'S WERE 40% LESS THAN ANOTHER ESTIMATE FOR THE SAME EXACT WINDOW!
