Rick Stutesman, owner of Consider It Done Remodeling, LLC installed our new double wall ovens. The cabinet opening from the ovens being replaced was 6and quot; too large. Rick removed the old units, built a support base in the opening to raise the new unit, and installed the new ovens. Additionally, he provided a fix for the extra space left by the smaller size of the new ovens. He measured the space and helped us order custom trim covers thus avoiding having to physically modify the cabinets. The trim he recommended looks like it was part of the oven design. When calling to schedule, Rick advised that he had time in the afternoon the day we called. Note that these ovens are quite heavy and cumbersome. Rick arrived on time with an assistant and performed all of the work without any issue in a very short period of time. Because of his professionalism, knowledge, and easy going personality, Rick made this a very easy project. His price, even with the additional work of the support base was excellent. Homeowners often run into projects and contractors that are frustrating, to say the least. No frustration when dealing with Rick Stutesman. Rick's company name, Consider It Done, says it all about working with him. Contact him, and consider it done. He does all types of remodeling and maintenance. I will be using him in the future for other projects. I am confident that other Angie's List members will be very satisfied if they use the services of Consider It Done for their projects.

I purchased a new garbage disposal (an upgrade in the existing line) and needed someone to install it. I called and they came the next afternoon. They arrived at 2:45 and were done by 3:10 PM. The two man crew obviously had done this before, as they sailed through quickly, cleaned up their mess and left.

He installed a microwave and it couldn't have been done any better. He took my old maicrowave away for me so I wouldn't have to dispose of it myself.

Rick was able to do most of the work we asked of him. There was a bit of confusion sometimes about when he was going to come; the work was of average or better quality, and the price was good. He would have gotten a higher rating had he displayed a better communication style and more positive customer service. When my sister or I called him, his answers were abrupt and his tone seemed condescending. I got the impression we were bothering him. He told us to buy unsanded grout for the kitchen; we got what the Home Depot person said would work. When I showed him, he stated he disliked that kind of grout and that Home Depot staff didn't know much. I just wish he'd gotten the grout himself and charged us for it. The last time we scheduled him to come, we understood he was going to be there in the morning (we had to be 120 miles away by 5). When we called to check, he said, flatly, "I *told* you I was going to be there in the afternoon." (He may have been right; it was the negative tone and words that were a turn off.) He then stated he was going to be there by noon or 1; he didn't arrive until 2:30, he didn't call to say he was going to be late. I had to call him again to find out when he'd arrive. A 2.5 inch piece of tile edging needed to be replaced; that type of tile is no longer made. We got the last two similar tiles in Florida Tile's stock. Both new tiles were slightly different from the existing tile and from each other. Rick used less than half of the best new tile, but took the rest of the best tile with him instead of leaving it for us. When we called and explained the situation and asked for the tile back, he said he'd thrown it away and that he didn't know which of his 4 garbage cans he'd tossed it in. By his tone, it was pretty clear our concerns weren't important to him and that he wasn't going to look for the tile. He didn't call back about it. I had to call him. I doubt he even tried to look. As I stated at the beginning, Rick can do the work. I think he would benefit from some improvement of his interpersonal skills.

They got the job done. The job was good. The price was okay. They got the job done in a timely manner, but they also had other jobs to work on. The air conditioner is working fine.
