Fairly punctual, did what was required, informed me of what he'd done, and the price was great!

We had a minor leak above our furnace. Comfort's sticker was on the furnace from the previous owner, so we called. They fixed the leak, to the tune of $864.00. Two months later, the leak is back and significantly worse than before. Both my wife and I called and spoke with Charlie. We found him to be combative and condescending all the while refusing to stand by his work. All I asked was that he check it out and he refused to do so without charging for a visit. He even suggested that the leak was our fault and that we were demanding he do extra work for free. When I expressed frustration that he wouldn't stand by his work, he hung up on me. A business owner who wouldn't simply check on a fix that he made hung up on a customer for asking him to stand by his work. I've never experienced anything like it.

He was on time and punctual. He gets an A rating. He takes care of everybody in the family heating and cooling.

The technician was on time, he was very professional and he went straight to work inspecting and checking our gas furnace. He answered a few questions we had for him regarding some problems we have had with the furnace and suggested an additional service without applying any pressure to have it done immediately. He cleaned the furnace and told us that someone from Comfort Heating would follow up regarding our questions for additional service.
 We were very pleased with the response from Comfort Heating to schedule the appointment and with the service performed, I will recommend Comfort Heating and Cooling to our friends and family and we will use them again in the future.

I had two different inspections and his work passed both of them. His prices were lower than the other bids I received. He did a very nice job. I have been using him over the past four years. I have also used him to replace the part that regulate the fire in the furnace. I use him personally and for my real estate clients.

I've been using them for a couple of years. I enjoy using them. They're prompt and seem very honest.

Comfort was the fourth HVAC contractor we had contacted for a bid.  However, Charlie was the FIRST contractor to tell us that due to a lack of any return vent on the second floor, any cooling solution that didn't provide a return mechanism would be really inadequate.  This was pretty important to us as we both work at home on the second floor.   Charlie's recommendation was a heat pump on the second floor.   Because another contractor had told us that a heat pump wouldn't work in our house (but didn't explain why), we had only requested Charlie do a AC/gas furnace bid initially.  His bid was well below other bids, even for good quality equipment.  Long-story-short, we ending up going through a long, painstaking decision process to decide whether or not we wanted a heat pump throughout, or just on the top floor and had him provide multiple bids for multiple scenarios.  Charlie was incredibly patient as we went through this process, always answering our questions in a timely and pleasant manner.  Ultimately, we made a decision and have been pretty happy with it.  Installation was done in a timely and professional manner. There have been some issues with inadequate heating on really cold days, but they have been mostly about not us not understanding how to use a heat pump most effectively and efficiently. Charlie has been responsive, though.  He has tested the equipment and then helped educate us for a better experience.  Also, this is minor, but he did over-estimate my tax rebates with Oregon and seemed to have some misunderstandings about how they work. So, that's something you may want to verify on your own if that's a big issue.  I don't think it was intentional to make us  think the system was cheaper or anything, I think its just a convoluted process and calculation.

The installation was fast, professional, on schedule and with no hiccups.  Everything was ship shape.   This was a very straightforward job.   The price was competitive and the furnace (Ruud) was a good brand.  Everything about this project went as smoothly as possible. I would use them again.

Showed up on time, promised a great price but never got back to us with the quote. Called some other places and his prices were still much better. Ended up calling him back...twice, each time he claimed something had come up and apologized. Then he no showed an appointment to do the install...twice. He finally had another guy do the install, who worked late into the night, but he never warned us some random guy would be in our basement so that was a surprise.When we paid him as we said he would he promised us a receipt as he ahd forgotten his book. We never got the receipt If you dont mind going through a major pain in the a**, his pricing is great.

I was very happy with them.  I would recommend them to family and friends.  Their price was right and came as a shocker to me.  They did not try to rip me off.  I would use them again in the future.

The office and field staff were very professional.  They performed the work precisely as they promised and there were no surprises or hidden costs associated with the work.

It was on a rental property that I own.  I wasn't there at the time they came out.  The tenants handled it.  I used an Angie's List coupon, which discounted the price.  When I spoke to them over the phone I found them to be very friendly and helpful.  I have never had such work done before, so I don't have a basis to compare their price.

I felt Comfort was honest and careful with what they were doing and how they explained the process to me. They had some issues with punctuality.

Charlie and his helper Jim, arrived promptly at 9am the next morning for the installation. The job went very well and I thought everything was done in a professional manner. They installed the new thermostat and progammed it for me, showing me each step of the process. I was also given hands on experience with servicing the new air filter. The new unit is working great and maintaining a very steady temperature throughout the house (without the temperature swings we experienced with our old unit). It is really great to have a steady temperature and not feel cold before the furnace starts! The bottom line is, YES, I do recommend using this company, especially dealing with Charlie.
