Workmanship OK. Time commitments not met. A project quoted as 8-12 weeks ran to 14 months. Subcontractors not paid in a timely manner. I paid subcontractors to prevent a lien. Excess materials stored on site and not removed despite numerous complaints. I came up with paint colors and gave identified samples to him. He lost the samples and started to paint the house with the wrong color paint. Some changes to the structure were needed to meet code. As a General Contractor he should know the codes, yet he expected me to pay for the changes. Several small projects were met with 'I can do that for you.' which could be interpreted as doing me a favor. Later he asked for payment for all these little things which were never quoted orally or in writing. In over a year of dealing with him I don't think a time commitment was ever met.

Working with TJ was a pleasure.  I had painting, electrical wiring, in wall speaker wiring, wall fixtures, attic vent fans, house fans and very fancy celling fans installed.  The work was done quickly, efficiently.and for the most part, on time as described.  The only scheduling issues were due to the weather, and nothing can be DONE about that.  Schedule changes were arranged with a minimum of disruption.  Clean up was quick, efficient and thorough.  Overall. a good experience.  I will use Columbia NW,  Inc. again.  NOTE:  When the customer changes what is to be done, this changes how long the job will take and how much the job will cost.  When I made EXTENSIVE changes to what I wanted, I found Columbia NW to be VERY RESPONSIVE!  The changes to total cost were VERY REASONABLE, the changes to schedule were QUITE REASONABLE.
