Title Companies
as a corporate real estate director for a fortune 500 company i worked with title companies for over 20 years. from selling, buying, trading, tax deferred exchanges etc etc ..
i know what it is like to get good service. that is something this company, Cascade Title Co of Clark County, does not understand. they were not our first choice but the seller insisted on using them for our transaction in buying our home in Vancouver. that should have been our first clue ...
not once did we ever speak with our designated escrow officer. each attempt to contact her we were told she was not available or on vacation or on leave. we never spoke with her and each time we tried, we were transferred to someone that was so annoyed to take our call; they seemed p***** off that we even bothered them .. it was really amazing to watch each person pass the buck and nobody taking interest in our needs. we were told to just try her again a little later or to leave her a voice mail.
it is really difficult to screw up a simple residential transaction nowadays .. please use anybody else in Clark county besides these folks .. they really hate to be bothered with any title work requiring employees to be available from 8-5.
