When we ordered the carpet, we took the sample book back to the manager and pointed to the carpet we wanted. She wrote it down and ordered the carpet. When the installer came, the carpet looked to light , but he insisted that it would be right when it was in the house and not in the sunlight. He was wrong. The carpet was the one above the one we pointed to and much lighted than the one we picked out.
When we called the manager she insisted that she ordered the carpet we said to order (we pointed and did not say which one to order) and it wasn't her fault and refused to take any responsibility for the error. We were stuck with the wrong carpet.
This company learned something important. Stay small so you can keep your repeat customer base. I believe they treat all customers equally and see beyond the box. The people at their show room are well versed in all flooring.
They explained how important it is to watch the sun, how it comes into the room, to determine which way to lay the nap of the carpeting or wood flooring. This was fascinating to us because I never would have thought hom important the sun is.Licensing
