carpet installation
 + -1 moreThe linoleum was fine. When we ordered the carpet, we took the sample book back to the manager and pointed to the carpet we wanted. She wrote it down and ordered the carpet. When the installer came, the carpet looked to light , but he insisted that it would be right when it was in the house and not in the sunlight. He was wrong. The carpet was the one above the one we pointed to and much lighted than the one we picked out. When we called the manager she insisted that she ordered the carpet we said to order (we pointed and did not say which one to order) and it wasn't her fault and refused to take any responsibility for the error. We were stuck with the wrong carpet.

 + -1 moreThis company learned something important. Stay small so you can keep your repeat customer base. I believe they treat all customers equally and see beyond the box. The people at their show room are well versed in all flooring. They explained how important it is to watch the sun, how it comes into the room, to determine which way to lay the nap of the carpeting or wood flooring. This was fascinating to us because I never would have thought hom important the sun is.
Description of Work: The estimator was prompt, did a thorough inspection, lifted old carpet to determine pad condition, measured 3 rooms, hallway, living room. Gave a written estimate. This was a rental and needed a fast turn-around. They had the carpet at their warehouse, delivered, carried out the old carpet and pad, installed, and cleaned their work area. IN ONE DAY. Our new renter moved in the next day, a week sooner than we told the new renter their move in date. Jon was very professional, worked with a purpose, gave suggestions on how to give the carpet a longer life (for us to pass on to our new renters) and called a week later to make sure everything was ok. This company works with integrity. This is not the only job they have done for us. We have 10 rentals and every time we have hired them through the past 20 plus years, they have not let us down. I think the best thing is how they are so respectiful of our time line, pricing, open and up front about durability of their products, and have delivered as promised. One time they told us they couldn't get to us for a week, so we hired someone else. OMGoodness, the new contractor messed up big time. But Jon went in and took care of us. What better recommendation than repeat customers.

Description of Work: Salesperson showed me different types of carpets, style and help educate me on carpeting. I was also given a reference person for installation who did excellent work, professional and efficient.

 + -1 moreTHE OWNERS OF THE STORE MET ME AT THE WAREHOUSE AT MY CONVENIENCE. I EXPLAINED MY PARAMETERS AND THEY WERE MORE THAN HELPFUL IN SELECTING OPTIONAL PIECES THAT FIT MY NEEDS.
Description of Work: I PURCHASED CARPET FOR MY SON'S ROOM. I WANTED A GOOD DEAL AND KNEW THAT I COULD PERUSE THEIR WAREHOUSE FOR REMNANTS.
