They are reliable, show up on time, honest, they don't recommend work that you do not need. They are all the things you would want in a plumber.

The contractor was here about 3 hours. He did good work. Each item was priced separately based on a price list. I agreed to the amounts as they added up to over $1,000 because Burfitt has worked for me before, I trust them to do good work, and I just wanted to get the work done without having to get estimates from others. The value of parts provided was not more that $275, therefore labor was more than $750 for the 3 hours. He didn't fix the leak in the tub at the first visit and there was still some drainage through the faucet when the shower was on. He came back to fix those things when I called. He wanted to charge me for the return visit, but after I produced my list of work that I'd previously provided him to be done, and after we had some discussion about my having already paid him $750 for 3 hours of labor, he agreed to complete the work at no cost and on his own initiative put some caulking to an area that I hadn't mentioned, but that needed it.
I won't go back to Burfitt because of the way things are priced. I have since begun using a plumber who gives me an hourly rate.

My shower faucet was leaking so I called a couple of plumbers and Alan immediately called me back to discuss the issue. He told me it that a cartridge needed to be replaced and roughly what it would cost me. Alan arrived and quickly replaced the cartridge. I had him look at two other faucets which he was able to fix.

I had assembled several different parts for a vanity in my bathroom remodel. Had a vessel sink, European faucet and a custom concrete counter-top and they didn't align with the drain on the wall. I contacted Burfitt Plumbing and they could have had done a service call that day. But since I was working, I scheduled for a different day. I got a courtesy call the day of the scheduled appointment to inform me he was on the way. The plumber evaluated my situation and gave me a quote for the price. The entire job took around 2 hours and the price was the same as the quote. Everything works well and had no problems with leaks.

We discovered a pretty bad water leak in our coat closet located under our stairwell. It had obviously been leaking for a while and was getting worse. Water was pouring down the wall and into my crawl space under the house. It was Saturday morning and I had a full day scheduled and the last thing I wanted to do was take care of a water leak in my house. I called Burfitt Plumbing and left a phone message. In a matter of minutes they had returned my call and in less than an hour Alan was at my house to stop the leak and fix the problem. Now all I have to do is replace some damaged sheetrock. He has done other work for me over the years and has always been prompt, courteous, and has done a great job. I highly recommend this compamy. Great service!

We had a leak under the kitchen sink. We have used Burfitt Plumbing since 1999 and have been pleased with their work so we called them for this problem. They responded quickly to our request. The gentleman who came to the house was very professional and
personable. While he was here we mentioned a problem with the shower. He fixed the kitchen drain and he cleaned out the shower head. We were very satisfied with his work and both fixtures continue to be problem free.

They did a very thorough job and didn't waste a lot of time. The price was fine considering all of the work they performed. I would recommend them to others.

They came on time and got right to work after determining the possible causes. They cleared the drain with a rotary tool and tested it by running water for sufficient time to prove it.

We had an original 1934 pedestal sink that started leaking from the trap and the valve shut offs. I found Burfitt plumbing on the internet with a search for BBB rated companies. I signed up for Angie's list after I had already contacted this company. William with Burfitt came out the same day I called. He was extremely prompt the 3 times he came to the house. He fixed our leaking 2 bathtub faucet handles by changing the washers that day. I thought the price was kind of high. Burfitt does not charge by the hour, but by the job. That is their standard price for doing this work on very old faucet handles. We got an estimate that day and were orginally just going to replace the faucet on our leaking sink. William came back 2 days later to do the work on the sink. It turned out that the replacement faucet I purchaed at Home Depot was missing a crucial part, so William had to come back a third time. He was very nice about the situation and agreed to come back the next day. After returning the faucet, I decided to replace the pedestal sink and replace with a vanity. William was very helpful in telling me what type of vanity to look for to fit the space we had. He cleaned up after the job was done. I'm very happy with how the sink was installed.

Alan arrived on time and performed the work as promised with no surprises. His helper had to get into the crawl space under my house, which is no easy chore. They did a great job cleaning up and replacing the soil and flower beds they had to dig in. I can hardly tell that they here.

Plumber came out same day and quickly diagnosed problem with water heater. Very professional work. However, $219 for less than half an hour or work just seems excessive, even for a plumber. Next time will not use a professional plumber, but will call a hot water specialist.

They cleaned up really well after themselves. They re-planted the plant they dug up. They were very professional. They gave me different options and prices. They left me with a decision to choose from that would work with our budget.

After a rat and rat hole were found in the basement, I had the county rat person, a city person, and a sewer line video-taper at the house. None of these located the problem. When Burfitt's estimator came, he said he was confident the hole would be in the drain line from the kitchen, not the main line; he gave me an estimate. When I decided to go ahead with them, they did the work (and confirmed that the hole was indeed in the kitchen return line). It cost exactly as per estimate. Well cleaned up. The office phone answerer, estimator, and plumber were all very friendly and easy to work with.

I've used this plumbing company for the past 4-5 years, and I'm always impressed by their punctuality and professionalism. They are up front about all costs, and they're always careful to educate you about your plumbing issue and possible options for dealing with the problem. They never try to influence me to choose the most expensive option. I've been extremely satisfied with the service from this company, and I think their prices are most reasonable & fair. Even though it took a total of 3 visits to complete the job mentioned above, William only charged me as if the work had all been done in one visit!

We came home to a broken water main on a Wednesday evening, had to turn off the water to the house, and needed the repair that evening, so we started calling plumbers. One offered to fit us in on Monday (5 days later); the rest of our calls reached answering machines to leave messages. Burfitt returned our call right away (only one other company called back, and that was the next day). They agreed to come by that evening, told us about how much it would cost and that we could save $319.00 by doing the digging to expose the pipe (which my husband did). The rep made an emergency repair so we could turn our water on, another rep replaced the regulator the next day, and the original rep delivered the houseing we needed on Saturday and settled the bill. All very professional. We're so glad they are the ones who responded to our call.

Plumber was on time very polite, but way over prices $900.00 for 3 hours work. Replaced about 7 feet of pipe, and replaced washer. Bill reflected the high cost helped defer training for new plumbers. Will never used them again, no senor discount. $36.00 estimate charge.

Excellent service. Burfitt responded to calls fairly quickly and provided the service when they said they would. The price was at the lower end of prices quoted by other established companies. The noted price included about $90 for the cost of a permit. Prior to having Burfitt come out, I had asked a neighbor and his crew to dig a trench to save money. Like the best-laid plans, the trench never worked out, but I was left with a partial trench running through the yard. Although Burfitt never used any part of the trench and had no responsibility regarding it, their employee, in backfilling the dirt they had moved, also filled in the trench for no extra charge. He spent a lot of time doing it and was very courteous and helpful. I genuinely appreciated their extra effort.

Called them the day I discovered overflow, and they scheduled to come out following day. Plumber was on time. Did not know not to park in front of neighbor's driveway, and I had to convince him to move his truck. He was polite and assessed the drain situation quickly. Did the work properly. I now know a drain which I had been told (by two other plumbers) was non-functioning could actually flood my basement!
