Brake Team destroyed my car. They bled the brake system and failed the master cylinder because they violated company prescribed procedures of maintaining a car. Then they put a new master cylinder in the car and tried to get the system working again. They modified the brake lines out of the master cylinder. They didn’t know how to do the job; they didn’t know how to remove the master cylinder and they didn’t know how to bleed the system properly. They damaged my brake lines completely. They didn’t know the proper procedure to handle my car. I waited a long time for them to do something. They have a practice of getting your car disabled and then going on to another car, leaving you in despair. After several more days, I called an automobile service organization and had them tow the car to the car company’s maintenance shop. They replaced the master cylinder. They found the brake booster had been damaged as well because the Brake Team had violated the procedures. They also found damaged vacuum lines in the vicinity of the master cylinder. They even had to find two break lines which were deliberately modified by a mechanic at the Brake Team. Brake Team had rendered the brake lines unusable. The company dealers had to search for the brake lines all over the country and they finally found them in two different cities. They got it express mailed. As, I didn’t have a car, I had to rent a car to attend my daughter’s graduation on the east coast. I spent a lot of money getting my car fixed. So, now I have sued the Brake Team in the small claims court. I want to recover the money from them. When they were sent the court summons, the Brake Team refused to accept them.

AT FIRST THEY WERE VERY HELPFUL. THEY LET ME GO GET MY OWN ROTORS, SINCE I COULD GET THEM CHEAPER THAN THEY COULD. HE QUOTED ME A PRICE, WHICH DIDN'T INCLUDE TAX. WHEN IT CAME TIME TO PAY, HE ADDED ON THINGS HE DIDN'T TELL ME ABOUT. WHEN I ASKED HIM ABOUT THIS, HE GOT A LITTLE TESTY. I PAID THE MAN AND LEFT.
