Boulder Falls Landscape

The first time they put in the wrong size of rocks then had to come and redo it. This business is dishonest! When they came back and were replacing some large rocks to fill with smaller rocks in front of my building and they were careless and dented and scratched my car. I was able to get their insurance info and now they are denying damaging my car and refusing to take accountability. This company is dishonest and not careful around others personal property.

Boulder Falls installed a set of concrete cap stairs from the lower tier to the upper tier of our backyard. The quality of the work was excellent and completed very quickly. We highly recommend.

Not well! It took approx 21/2-3 hours and the lawn was still too long! I called and left a message, never received a return call, so I called again!! I finally spoke with Samantha and was told that she has not even checked her messages!! I was told I need to pay more in order to get my lawn mowed again!! I had prepaid them $300 already and only had my lawn mowed once!!! I was also informed that the hourly rate had gone up from $35.00 hr to $45.00 hr. I was never notified regarding a rate increase! I demanded they issue a reimbursement check to me immediately and that I would take my business elsewhere! This company is beyond unprofessional!!!

In general, happy with the results.

They did a very nice job and I had an excellent experience. The price was a little high. The quality and responsiveness was very good. It was a good professional crew that did a good job.

They did a fantastic job landscaping our back yard.  The design was terrific.  As the work progressed, Scott tweaked the design.  He coordinated his work with our koi pond and waterfall builder and designed an integrated landscape that looks like it has always been there.  His crew was meticulous and detail oriented while at the same time fast and efficient.  They always showed up on time and were polite and helpful.  Scott kept us informed of the progress and what would happen when.  We are very pleased with the results and enjoyed working with them.

Boulder Falls did not bring enough three way soil to prepare the ground properly, when I mentioned that we needed more, he said that is all he budgeted for and if we wanted the work done today, while the sod was ready to go, it would be enough. He told me it would be fine. While they laid the sod, they did not butt the edges together, when I brought that up, they said that they would fill in on their own. When they were done, I asked if they were going to water and roll the sod...they argued with me and then brought out the roller. I had to argue with them again to put water in the roller.
A few days later, I went and got my own three way and hired a local kid to help me fill in the gaps between the sod pieces as the edges were drying out and I did not think they would survive.
I have pictures of the lawn and my receipt if anyone is interested.
I called Scott and told him the problems, but he did not come out to look. He told me I needed to fertilize for the winter, which I did.
In the spring, I called them again as my lawn was dying. Scott came out to look and asked me if I had let snow stay on the lawn. He then said I had probably not raked up all the leaves in the fall and that they had caused my problem. There were no leaves on my lawn. After paying so much, I was trying desperately to save my lawn. I had done all the prep work and leveling. I had put a lot of my own sweat and tears into this project
I fertilized again, but by summer, my lawn was basically dead. The netting used in the sod to keep it together had come up and was catching in my lawn mower so I had to go out and cut the netting where it was sticking up.
It has been a few years now and my lawn is mostly moss and varying amounts of weird grasses.  I complained to the Better Business Bureau, but they were not able to get any cooperation from Scott.
I had written and asked Scott to come and take care of the lawn but they have never come out.
I would advise anyone that is going to use them to think twice, do some research and know what you are asking them to do so you can keep an eye on them. Better yet, call someone else...

This is the third project completed by Boulder Falls, he also completed our first large patio. Scott stands behind the quality of his workmanship. The only reason responsiveness is lower is because Scott did not get bids to me in writing in a timely manner. Often have to request it several times. However, he is great in giving you what you want and makes great suggestions for improving the design. I would still use him in the future. Scott had the best bid, arrived when scheduled, and great quality for the price. I would recommend him to anyone.

Completed Projected over two days and was as promised.

I've used other yard maintenance companies in the past and been only marginally happy with them.  This team is by far the best company I've used.  

We were given a start date, but no one ever called to confirm.  As the date got closer we kept calling both the cell phone for Scott Esteb, the rep  that came to our house and the business office.  No one would call us back.  Finally, start date came and no one called or came by.  They did start the work a day or so later.  We were never sure who was coming and when.  Some days they didn't come at all and some days they came early and some days they came late.  No one ever called or told us to let us know what was happening.  The men who did come by to work worked very hard and they were professional.  When we got the bid from Scott, he told us he would be here on site every day during the work.  We hardly ever saw him.
The trellis is great--but we did tell them we wanted them to come back and put a stain/sealer on it (an extra charge we agreed to).  We called several times to get that scheduled.  No one ever called us back so we did it ourselves.  Our friend came over and said the work was good, but there were a few finishing touches they should have done to keep the water from pooling in the wood--so he was kind enough to make those last pieces and put them on for us.  We also had a flower bed put in front of our windows.  The flower bed was not centered around the windows--very disappointing because it is so beautiful.
We also spoke to Scott at the very beginning and told him after the whole thing was done we wanted to discuss putting a trellis over the flower bed for a climbing plant.  He said I should wait until the job was done so he could see if it would look good all together.  Called several times to get him to come back to talk about it--no return phone call.  We have decided to go with another company to have that done.  
The patio is beautiful--we do love it.  Very disappointed with the lack of communication and follow up.  Very disappointed that my flower bed is not centered around my windows.

They took a while to get back to us.  They were very professional and did a very nice job.  I would tell people to hire them early in the year.  Their follow up is not good because they have limited staff.

The dispatcher had give the technician the wrong time.  After calling to find out the reason for the tech being late, the problem was corrected and the tech arrived shortly thereafter.  He apologized profusely even though the fault was not his.  He ran our system to confirm all of the stations, attached his machine to remove the water from the lines, then tested the system for confirmation.  The whole job took less than 30 minutes.  Very nice.

They started a bit behind schedule because of previous work that people added on.
Once they started it was done in 3 days.
They went above and beyond what I asked and added mulch to the other side of the house as well and also to the flower beds at the front and back of the house.
We are delighted with how the yard looks (especially the driveway - now no more neighborhood children treating our driveway like a sandbox and spreading the pea gravel all over the sidewalk).

I had to have Boulder Falls Landscape come back out to make some adjustments, but we knew that might happen from the beginning. They were prompt when they came back out. They were professional about it. I didn't really have any complaints and the patio still looks fine.

Took them a day longer then anticipated, however they were back out the following day first thing to get it finished for us.

They are very good to deal with and  they answer all questions.  Any problem that comes up they take care of it.  I'm very happy with them.

I just can't say enough good things about this company! From the very start, I could tell they were different from others. I visited their website and sent an email requesting a quote. Scott, the owner, called me back in about 5 minutes. He was very professional and positive and he went out the next day to look at my yard and then called me back just as he had said he would. I was very impressed with the quote and how much I get for such a reasonable price! They truly are "full service." If necessary, they can repair my irrigation system and they can also do complete landscaping of my yard. In the past, most of the time I would have had to employ 2 additional companies to get these other things done. During my first visit last week, Scott called me to let me know they were working on my yard that day and to let me know what was happening. I am so happy with his promptness, professionalism, and honesty. This is a great company and I highly recommend them.
