A Property Owner’s Opinion of Blue Property Management: Avoid this company. After researching a number of real estate property management companies we decided to go with Blue Key Property Management in Vancouver WA. I met with the owner and his brother who on first impression appeared to have very uninteresting with flat personalities. However their contract seemed fair compared the the other property management companies that we had interviewed. The problems with Blue Key started almost immediately where they dragged there feet on listings of my vacancies, not replying messages or emails. I had to stop calling and resort to an “email trail” to prove my efforts since people at the company were denying to have received my inquiries. To me this was sheer laziness and apathetic. On a number of occasions they were so unresponsive that they would email me back regarding some other problems attaching it to what they had not addressed. I also found erroneous billing entries which were unexplained. We sensed early on the this was an unscrupulous company with its own self interest at heart and early terminated the contract at a considerable cost to us. It was a short term lost for what we saw as a long term headache. According our experience and accounts from multiple sources, this industry brimming incompetent shysters. I would strongly suggest property owners before employing a property management company to go online and view videos on how to pick property managers and avoid this company. One last suggestion for property owners is to look at many sources for reviews. Blue Key had OK reviews on one site but terrible reviews on another which was more akin to what we experienced.
