Cameron Barnes with Barnes Family Construction helped us by remodeling our entire front porch and back deck.  Cameron is an incredibly skilled craftsman who has a keen eye for detail and all his work done with precision.  This was evident because the front porch and our back deck turned out to be everything we had envisioned and more! 
Cameron?s excellent work ethic was apparent right from the get go. He was completely thorough in explaining what each step would entail.  He is a great communicator, which is key for a smooth construction job.  We were always impressed how quickly he
would return phone calls or text us back when we had questions.  He made sure there were never any surprises and was upfront about everything when it came to costs, length of time, and options.   His extensive knowledge in all areas of construction gave us peace of mind when making decisions.  We valued all his helpful suggestions when we were unsure of certain materials, lighting, stonework, design, etc.  He was patient with us when we would sometimes change our mind, for example when he
built a sturdy platform to hold our new hot tub on the deck.  Due to no fault of his own, we decided we wanted the hot tub higher so he rebuilt the platform to our liking and with a smile! 
Cameron could see things we never would have noticed.  For example, after he installed our new front door he constructed a door threshold.  He wasn?t satisfied with the looks of it and reconstructed it to make it perfect free of charge.  Also, when he installed our high end cable rail system on back deck.  He knew he was working with the expensive materials that we decided on and there wasn?t a lot of room for error.  It was an intricate process especially down the stairs where cable railing had to
line up perfectly.  Cameron is so smart with the critical details of correct measuring. You could sure tell because it turned out awesome!  Cameron wouldn?t dream of taking shortcuts on us or any customer, and we admire and appreciate that about him.
Cameron?s friendly demeanor is so genuine and we trust him completely.  We gave him access to our security codes so he could come and go as needed if we weren?t home.  We have two teenage daughters and it always made us feel better knowing he was there working on something when we couldn?t be home. 
Cameron, not only helped us beautify the outside of our home but he helped us with multiple odd jobs on the inside.   For example, he helped repair the work of a previous bad contractor.  We had extensive internal water damage due to this other
contractor not putting a plastic shield between the travertine of our new shower on second floor and the wood siding of our home.  Water leaked warping the outside siding as well as all down through to living room ceiling.   Cameron fixed that nightmare perfectly!
Cameron has his customers best interest in mind at all times.  We would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone because we know first hand he will do an excellent job!  Please feel free to contact us with any questions and/or come by our home to see his work.  We absolutely love it and so will you!

This was another example of Cameron Barnes' great work!  Last year he remodeled our kitchen, 2 downstairs bathrooms, plus repainted most of the downstairs interior.  This year he remodeled the upstairs bathroom (replaced tub, sink, etc) plus installed tile in the tub surround and on the counter.  He finished the tile with a travertine backsplash on the counter, and a travertine accent around the tub.  Also tiled the floor and the entire project is gorgeous!  He used mostly the leftover tile we had from the downstairs projects - and his artistic eye and engineering exactness resulted in, again, beautiful work.  We were out of town for much of the project but trusted him completely - and would again.  He laid some beautiful hardwood flooring in an upstairs bedroom and painted all the upstairs room.  He also constructed a wrought-iron railing along our loft/walk, and built a wood/wrought iron banister!  So now we've had him do basically everything - flooring, painting, moving walls, bathrooms - and his work is consistently excellent - and reasonably priced.  He shows up every day on time, works all day, then leaves with the place all cleaned up.  Best contractor ever!

This was a painless project.  The contracter, Cameron came for a walk through, then got right back to us with the estimate.  The job came in under estimate.  He showed up on day one and on day two and every day after that.  (If you've ever had a building project, you know how unusual this is.)  He was really efficient - tore stuff out, took it to the dump, fixed up or replaced drywall, then painted (including a 2 story tall living room that required a man-lift be brought in) , then laid the hardwood and tile floors.  He used a pebble type tile to create the illusion of a river flowing thru the bathroom.  He built an alcove in the shower wall to hold stuff.  He stepped the travertine tile in the kitchen to transition into the dining room.  Lots of attention to detail.  Project finished on time and under budget, and absolutely beautiful.
