The owner, Dale Sooter, has bowled with our neighbor for years and did his roof several years ago so he came highly recommended. We'd just received an outrageously high bid and Dale's was less than 1/4 that, so we accepted it. He told us he could start on Tuesday June 18, "maybe Monday, I'll call you Sunday night if so." Monday bright & early it sounded like the world was falling apart as his crew started hammering and throwing shingles around, but the crew worked very hard. He was good about moving his truck if we needed in or out of the garage and had one employee who's main job was to pick up shingles and nails. They finished half a day early and left a lot of stuff beside the garage because the guy who's job it was to pick it up fell ill, but they came back next day and cleaned up everything excellently. I've looked all over and have yet to find any nails on the ground, and it has rained some since the new roof came, and nothing leaks. We'll have to wait till October, the actual rainy season, to make sure but at this point we're very pleased with the job.
