Despite a busy day, they squeezed in time for a same-day visit. Emergency rates were reasonable, and they were kind enough to answer some other electrical questions I had unrelated to the call. They were very knowledgeable and explained things in clear terms that I could understand. I'll definitely be contacting them again for future electrical work.

Each job was completed in a timely, professional manner. I would/will definitely hire this company for any necessary electrical work.

Larry is an execellent member of a team. He helped me make good choices. I have no doubts about the quality of work he performed. This was a big project on a 1940's house. Larry is the intelligent, fair, honorable, and efficient man you will remember long after the project is completed.

Larry was so great to work with, he did a wonderful job, was quick, efficient, even showed me where we could save money on updating our old two prong outlets with three prong grounded outlets. He was very friendly and easy to work with, and I would recommend him to anyone who needs a good electrician that they can trust to do the job right and be forthcoming about the price.

I wish I had found/hired Larry a long time ago! The ceiling fan he replaced wasn't even that old. It turns out the previous installer didn't even use the right (something) box. Rather than put the new fan up with old, inappropriate fittings, Larry took the extra time to do the job correctly. He also generously shared what was right and what was wrong and what the risks were if we chose not to replace that box thingy.
The thing that really impressed me though was that he immediately spotted our outdated fire alarms. We knew they were old, in fact we were having a lot of false alarms and had even disabled one of them! We thought replacing them would be an ordeal but it was amazing how fast and cost effectively Larry had us "safe" again!
I wish Larry could do all of our other work around the house since our bestest handyman moved away to Seattle. Guys with this kind of pride in workmanship and ethics are very hard to find.

Larry was very nice. Gave us an estimate for rewiring some circuits and told us that It could take up to 2 days. He was done in 4.5 hours. We were suspicious of the price and then called 3 other electricians and they were in shock at what we were being charged. They would have only charged us a quarter of that.  We had been Hosed.  We did try to talk to Larry about how we felt, but he just gave us excuses about the cost of running a business. Yadda Yadda. We paid the bill in whole but will never return to this company or recommend it to anyone.  We understand that we should have gotten the estimates before but Larry was nice.  We should feel good about a company and their services and integrity. This company makes us feel bad.

Larry saw what needed to be done, problem solved when his original plan was found to not to be feasible due to another appliance that depended on the original 220 (discovered the problem before any substantial work had been done). Completed the work satisfactorily. He is very professional, and neat (wears booties in the house, puts a cover down on his work area to keep things clean, vacuums up his area after he's done), friendly, informative. I'm not sure how his fees are in comparison with anyone else, but he gives very good service. This is the second job I've had him do (the last job was 2 years ago and I was very impressed at that time, so called him back). A friend who had used him recommended him to me, and now I recommend him to my friends. I will certainly use him again the next time I have an electrical need.

I set up an appointment with Absolute Electric and Larry came out. He arrived punctually and was very friendly and professional. He put on foot booties and spread a tarp at his work area to keep the carpet clean. He explained all the repairs needed and the price before he started. The needed repairs turned out to be more extensive than originally thought, but he stayed until the job was done, and gave me a significant price reduction. I have further repairs that will have to be done in the future, and I plan to ask for Larry to complete them.

The technician was prompt, very friendly and professional. I explained what we wanted (probably not entirely clearly as electrical systems are not in my realm of understanding). The technician then went through the entire house and presented me with a list of upgrades he felt we may need, that would have easily cost over 10,000. I elected to stick to the original plan, but even that seemed overly expensive. Although I admittedly don't know the going rate for these services. That said, he did a great job, but the whole thing felt a little salesy.

This is an update to a previous report filed 30 June 2008. If you read that one, please read on!. Larry (the owner) was the one who actually came out to perform the work. He comped the work that was not done or done incorrectly. Frankly, I was amazed as the original work had been done FOUR YEARS AGO, and he still made good on it. This is a kind of service and integrity you simply do not find anymore. He was upfront about other charges. He was very professional and the price was comparable to other companies, but far more prompt and friendly. After the work was completed, there were some issues with my cable connectivity. He came back out the very next day (even though he was out of town for most of that day) and installed different, more expensive equipment for no charge. If I could find a way to erase or delete my previous comments I would. He was professional from start to finish. He worked quickly and efficiently. I have already recommended ABSOLUTE to a neighbor and would, without hesitation, recommend ABSOLUTE to anyone with a need for an efficient, professional electrician.
