3D Design Northwest

It would be difficult for me to overstate how bad my experience was with 3D Design NW and Victor Lopes. I found this company to be dishonest, unreliable and incompetent. I hired Victor Lopes to design an outside entrance for my basement and fulfill the basic requirements required by the city of Portland to issue a permit for the work. The plans and drawings he provided more than 3 months later were repeatedly rejected by the building department as insufficient and lacking. Although the contract I signed with him required him to correct deficiencies in the plans, he was unavailable to do so, never returning phone calls or replying to emails. I was forced to hire another engineering company to correct his mistakes and pay additional intake fees to finally receive the permit, holding up the project for almost a year. One other thing of note, when I first met with him I gave him a copy of drawings I had from the remodel of the basement from several years before. I thought it would help with the site plan he was required to draw up. Apparently he copied these plans verbatim, because the plans he gave me included the old location of the water heater which had subsequently been moved a few years before I ever met Lopes. This leads me to believe he never even came out to the site to take measurements despite telling me he did.
