Integral Inspections

Very impressed with Jim Groen's performance. We were able to schedule the inspection promptly, he showed up on time, and he invested the better part of a day inspecting a home of approximately 3600 square feet. Have hired other inspectors in the past for various home purchases, but none were as thorough as Jim. He took photos of everything, and recorded notes not just on major repair items, but also on minor issues that he wanted us to be aware of. He provided a 4-page long summary report, and a 36-page comprehensive report. The generous use of photos made it very easy to identify the locations of various issues. The report was also very well-organized into different categories of issues, whether it was health & safety or just cosmetic, whether repairs costs would be major or minor, etc. This made it very easy to sift through a long laundry list of items and discern what was really important and what wasn't. Having a home inspection done really does pay for itself. Our inspection cost us $450 but identified several thousand dollars worth of repair items that were then negotiated with sellers.
