Bonny Leach takes personal pride in the quality of his work, which is excellent. He stopped by numerous times in the 2 years since the job to make sure things are going well. He has the right equipment, very professional. His deep South accent is hard to understand but charming. You can't go wrong with Bonny Leach.

The lawn is strikingly beautiful. It is a deep emerald green color. The soil quality in the neighborhood is extremely poor--clay and rocks. Before it was weeds, clover, and yellow grass--now it is growing so well I have to mow it twice weekly. I have never been so happy to mow my yard. Bonny is a delightful man with a great sense of humor who is hard to understand unless you are familiar with the way African-Americans from the deep South talk. It was in the South he learned hard work on a farm in the hot sun, as I did, so hard work here will not bother him. My neighbors were so impressed with the personal attention he and his sprinkler expert, Jim, devoted to our yard over several days, working long hours during the hottest weeks so far this year. In fact, Bonny was weak from a recent serious medical problem, but he didn't let it stop him. Bonny has a versatile Toro Dingo, the consummate machine for the lawn professional that cost him $30,000. Therefore, Bonny is not cheap, which is why I gave a B for price. But you get what you pay for, and considering how a beautiful lawn can enhance the value of a house, he was worth every penny. He even stopped by the other day to give me a care plan for my lawn so I don't have to pay him to fertilize it at the right times--imagine that!
Description of Work: Completely re-did the lawn with sod. First killed old vegetation, next dug up ground with his Toro machine, next brought in 3 inches of excellent quality topsoil along with 2 inches of mulch, then laid highest quality rye grass sod. Returned several times to check on it, gave it the first mowing while we were on vacation.
