Bob went the extra mile and researched the type of software I was using before coming on site. While on site, he discovered the problem was Windows-related, which I could not have discovered myself. The problem was resolved in less than 1.5 hours. The VPN works as it should for each identity on the computer. I was delighted with the whole experience with Bob, and felt my dollars were well spent. He will definitely be the first person I think of the next time I need help.

It went fine. It took them 5 days to come out. They didn't charge more than the deal. When they got here, they did a fine job. The workers were pretty nice.

Arrived on time and used flash drive to transfer all data from old modem to new. Then installed new modem with windows 10. After installation performed tasks to activate different apps of windows 10. Disposed of old modem which would be scrubbed of any information available. Went very well and completed tasks within 2 hour time limit which I contracted for. Would not hesitate to use his services again.

Technician spent much longer than expected to try and locate problem but was ultimately not successful in fixing.

He arrived promptly, was friendly and professional. Did what was necessary from the discussion we had about what we felt was our issues with our computer and network system. Was finished at the 2hr time period allowed under the special price offer we purchased. He informed us he wasn't as familiar with Apple computers as PC's but still did a very good job on our Apple laptop. We were very satisfied with his service and especially liked that he would come to you instead of having to go somewhere out of town and leave our computer to be worked on. Yes we would recommend this company to others.

My computer hasn't worked this good since I bought it. It is about five years old. He took a phone call from me about another issue. He helped me understand what it means. He taught me a couple of things and I can call him anytime. He doesn't charge me for the phone calls. He looked at my roommates computer. He was the best. He didn't charge me more even though he stayed longer.

When I called Bob to set an appt time, I asked if he would call me if he were running late. He did do that (15min) and arrived when he said he would. He has a very calm demeanor and was a wonderful teacher. Also, if he didn't know the answer to any question I had, he would admit it. Overall, he was an A+ Angie's list provider! Debbie Joy

I called Bob regarding my computer not starting due to a likely hard drive malfunction. He gave me the possible scenarios of either fully recovering my desktop environment to the prior state on a new hard drive or recovering my documents, pics, etc and reinstalling the OS using the recovery disks I had downloading when I initially purchased the laptop. He gave me an estimate with a breakdown of parts and labor over the phone. I dropped off the computer on a Tuesday, get a update call in the evening and that it would be ready by morning. Bob was very good about following up on my phone messages. I picked up the computer one day from drop off with the desktop as it had been before the crash. The final statement was significantly less than the estimate and Bob applied the Angie's List 10 dollar coupon. I would highly recommend Bob for personal computer troubleshooting and repair. Excellent service and value.

In addition to running more slowly, my computer was receiving suspicious "warnings" about the computer's drivers and various software programs, unwanted "referrals" to other websites, etc. I used Angie's List to locate ComputerLab in my own community. My inquiry to ComputerLab via Angie's List was responded to promptly. When I dropped off the laptop, Bob listened to all of my concerns. I also provided him with a list of "suspicious" websites that had contacted me. His work was thorough, polite, and professional. He answered all of my questions and detailed all of the work that he had performed. This was an entirely positive experience.

I called Bob after several days of not being able to login to my computer. I kept getting an error message about my user profile service not in service. He came out the next day and fixed my problem plus did much more. Uninstalled a duplicate anti-virus program, checked for spyware and malware, cleaned the file system and checked for errors. My response time has improved greatly! I think the price was very reasonable considering Bob was here for two hours. I downgraded the punctuality because my appointment was at 2pm and he wasn't able to come until 4:30pm. The job before mine turned into a bigger problem than he had anticipated. He called me twice to keep me informed of the timeline and it all worked out fine. I can see how this might happen from time to time. Overall I was extremely satisfied with the service and will definatley call again if necessary (his work is satisfaction guaranteed).

I initially contacted Bob to contract for printer repair. Normally a technician will quote me their evaluation or home visit charges and make the appointment even when they know that there is little or nothing to be gained (save their fees) from the appointment. Bob listened to what was going on and then he did something unusual, he told me the truth. He said that if he came out, he would be charging me his fee; however, since printer manufacturers now make home printers to be disposable, he didn?t believe that there was anything that he could do. He advised me that I might come out better simply purchasing a new printer, as they are usually less expensive than his fees. In the end, as he expected, I wound up cancelling the appointment and purchasing a new printer. His honesty and professionalism makes him sterling in my book. I will be purchasing a new CPU in a few months and will defiantly be using his services to clean the old computer and migrate my data from the old to the new computer. He is now in my personal contacts as my computer go to guy and I?d recommend him to anyone. WAY TO GO BOB!

For a service call to my home, Bob Klemola, the Owner of Kitsap ComputerLab, charged $75.00 ($60 base for service call plus first 1/2 hour of service and $15 for another 15 minutes of work). This is less than I have paid to other computer repair people when taking my computers to their shops. Since I am not a sophisticated computer person, I cannot compare his work to the work another professional might have done, although everything is working just fine. The reason I am taking the time to rate this service on Angie's list is because, as an older lady, I am used to having computer professionals laugh at or ignore my questions, argue with what I want done or even, in a couple cases, do work I did not want because they felt it would be better for me. Bob took the time to answer all questions fully and respectfully, he did exactly the work I asked him to do, and he was patient when I had to reschedule twice.

/2013 Bob was helpful and pleasant. He taught me how to change my slideshow and get rid of unwanted photos. Very helpful.
