Merry Maids of Tumwater

It went well.

Cleaners were young and energetic- but no attention to detail. One of my pictures was rehung upside down after it was dusted! Always took a while to reposition my things after a clean- surfaces dusted, but not the things on top. Put back willy-nilly without care.

They came out every other week and it was $120 per cleaning. It was okay. We had a regular schedule and they were pretty good. Their vacuum broke a couple of time and they had to use ours. That was strange. Sometimes they missed us, but they did okay. Their quality was average. Their vacuum didn't look like a commercial type vacuum. I think you should probably have the right equipment when you go somewhere, that's going to not break down.

Merry Maids is very reliable and professional. I feel spoiled because before we moved to Olympia, I was used to having an individual housekeeper that was able to do more tasks - handwashing dishes, load/unload dishwasher, do and fold laundry, wash bedding and change sheets, AND it still cost less. MM will change sheets if you remember to leave them out, but they don't do dishes or laundry, which is disappointing. You get more of a discount the more times they come, but $108/week for ~1600 sq ft (1 bedroom, 2.5 bath, living rm, family rm, and kitchen) for a couple with 2 dogs still felt rather expensive to me. I also felt that the quality of cleaning was high in the beginning, but then would level off. They were usually very considerate to our sensitive rescue dogs which was very important to us. We have since moved, but I would not hire them again since I need something more tailored to my wants.

We went with a different service only because of a personal connection with the other provider. I would have gone with Jessica and Merry Maids of Tumwater if the price was a little bit closer to the other bid as well.

Could not believe my eyes on the 3 toilet bowls; looked brand new. We have well water so there is always a lime/scale build-up. The toilets are 12 yrs old from when we remodeled......they are NOW GOOD AS NEW! Merry Maids from Tumwater is very organized, detailed and everything they say they can do.....GETS DONE! I have signed up for bi-weekly cleaning and I have not had a service for 12 yrs, so I am in HEAVEN! Thanks, Merry Maids of Tumwater!

They cleaned a home where the resident died. Five dogs were in the house until the deceased was found three days after dying. Thus, the house was malodorous._x000D_|The three young women were kind and compassionate, never once displaying any sign of distaste for this situation._x000D_|The crew deserves high praise for their work and kindness. Merry Maids (Tumwater). Management earned kudos for its high level of employees and their training._x000D_|

It went well considering neither the estimator nor the cleaning team had cleaned an RV before. The estimate did not consider all the nooks and crannies found in RV's.
They got the walls, ceiling. and inside windows in four hours. They were unable to start on the sleeping area, shower or toilet rooms. They never got to the stove/oven or the cabinets under the sink. Not their fault, just because the estimator had no experience in cleaning RV's.
The team assigned, I believe their names were Sophi and Janet, were professional and worked extremely hard. They were unable, due to another scheduled job, to continue beyond the four hour period estimated. The next time the team will require at least 6 hours in my opinion. There is nicotine on the walls which is difficult (discusting??) for a non-smoker to handle. Sophi and Janet had experience around smokers so did not make me feel like an outcast like many these days would.
Yes, with the right team, I would like to retain your services again this Fall...then smoke only outside this winter!

These women always arrive on the date promised. I have employed private individuals to clean in the past, and some times they just would not get there. It is worth a lot to know the house will be clean on the stated date.

Excellent! Cherry and efficient the women went right to the task and got it done. They were so proffessional and personable. They looked proffessional and did a top job! We are sold! Yeah Merry Maids!

I've had Merry Maids cleaning my large home for about three years. Overall I'd rate them as Very Good. I spend $230 every four weeks: $145 for the and quot;big Cleanand quot; and $$85 for the and quot;small Cleanand quot;. Merry Maids' prices have not changed since I hired them, despite adding another person to my household and two dogs. It's not inexpensive, but worth the price for me. Merry Maids has performed much better than previous companies.
Merry Maids' cleaners come to my home on Fridays; generally the Office can tell me about when they will arrive so that I can run errands or be outside with one of the dogs. Sometimes they send two cleaners, other times up to four women - often they are training someone new to my house.
They follow the Cleaning Plan set up with the manager and make notes when there are changes or special requests. I would recommend having a fulsome connversation with the manager before hiring Merry Maids so that she understands what your cleaning expectations will be. Dusting furniture, scrubbing showers and cleaning my hardwood floors are my priorities. They almost always hit the mark on these three. They do clean floors on their hands and knees using my special hardware floor cleaner. My floors are not 'sealed'. Previous cleaners ruined one area so I have learned the hard way.
I would rate Merry Maids ''Aand quot;, if I could get the same team working on my home each visit. Although I requested this at the beginning, the company hasn't been able to meet this expectation. They do send Maids who have cleaned the home previously, but it seems as though there is always someone new. My confidence in using Merry Maids would increase if I could interact with the same crew - and I would be able to provide a gratuity to them, as well. I have never had anything stolen or any other type of serious mishap. They always leave a nice note before they depart, signed, so I know who was there.

I chose them because I would love to have an individual person. I think that it would cost me less and they could come more often than I could afford. But I have to be able to count on them. I have a special needs person in my house. They have to greet her, give her hugs and handle the dogs. I just like them. It takes them about three hours to complete the job. They always call ahead of time and remind me that they are coming. They always show up on time. They never let me down that way.

See above. We have been using Merry Maids almost one year and plan to continue their services.

Stephanie and Tabitha came to do a deep clean of our entire house. They had great personalities, were friendly, but never stopped working. They worked long and hard but always had a smile and answered any questions we had along the way. We had previously used a different agency, with which we were unhappy at the end.

We definitely did not have that problem with these two and asked the agency to permanently assign them as and quot;our teamand quot; so we get them every time!

Good cleaning yet did miss areas that were paid for. I informed them either during their cleaning visit or the next time. They were prompt yet the job quality was not uniform each time. There was always something that was not done. Was expensive for 1.5 hours with 2 young lady's.

No problems. Crew of two workers arrived on time and did a good job. There was a refund after the work was performed as the crew did not need the time estimated.
