Great outcome! Had 3 1/2 acres of scotch broom and he came in with the big bobcat that had a cutter wheel on the front. He cut it down and then mulched it as he went. Sure beats cutting it all by hand!

Great! Work was performed exactly as we requested. Tyler is a great communicator through each step of the process. His crew is extremely polite and they cleaned up and left everything perfect.

Great job! They showed up on time and Tyler was great at communicating each step of the process. We were very happy with the end result. Would highly recommend them to friends and family. The crew even swept the driveway and street for us!

Overall, it went pretty well.  The guys doing the work were receptive to my requests regarding the way the flagstone patio was fit together.   I was happy with the outcome, though I had to finish up some things on my own.  There were no instruction provided regarding how to take care of the seeded (grass) area, the polymeric filler ("Gator Dust") around the flagstone, or cleaning and sealing the flagstone.  I would recommend giving customers those kinds of instructions.  I ended up researching various things on my own.  Some of the polymeric filler used around the flagstone was not settled and I ended up with a hole where I had placed a stool leg.  I left a message for Tyler, the owner, asking about how to address that - I did not get a reply.  I ended up buying a bag of the "Gator Dust" and will use it to fill holes and where the original filling settled/settles.  I also left a message about the grass, as after the grass started growing, it seemed a bit sparse (should I add more seed?).  I have not heard back.
For whatever reason, poor communication seems to be an epidemic among contractors. All Things Dirt isn't the worst, but there is room for improvement, particularly in regard to the follow-up.

The work has yet to be complete, but I have full confidence at this time that it will be done properly.  Tyler has been very punctual, timely, and helpful at every turn.  Our job(s) were not simple -- we have low-lying property, so water drainage is complex issue.  He looked at the situation from many different aspects, shed new light on the situation that we hadn't even seen, made a variety of suggestions (not all of them things that would bring his company more work), and followed through with the appropriate referrals.
Our work included drainage away from the house where soil erosion was occurring because rain water.  In addition to the drain lines, Tyler suggested the gutters were trying to handle too much water as well.  Drainage from the pump house also needs some attention -- as well as winter-standing water on one level of the yard.  We have a long gravel driveway, and they are going to regrade it and replace a large portion of the gravel with a more appropriate one that will settle/tamp together over time -- instead of the loose gravel.
The work is to be done later in July (it could have been done earlier, but we requested the later date).  At this point, I would recommend All Things Dirt.

They did a great job. Turned out just like I wanted it. Estimate was on par with another. Not cheap but good work. The owner was easy to work with and accommodating.

All of the work was done in a professional and timely manner.  After the down spouts and french drains were installed, I called the contractor back because there was still some water collecting under the house after the most recent heavy rains.  He brought his crew out again, without complaint, to dig some shallow, rock-lined trenches in the crawl space that would draw the remaining water away from the house.  I think he's a bit pricey, however I could not find any other contractors locally that did this kind of work.  Since he was local, I decided to hire him and was reasonably satisfied with his work.  I don't know that he did a perfect job in trying to correct the drainage problems arising from the sloppiness of the site preparation when the house was first built, but his remedial work was good enough for me.

They did a lot of work over several days. The land was wet, which caused some problems. They brought in several different pieces of equipment to get the job done. There were some delays, but only due to weather. They were very responsive and accommodating.

Tyler & his brother did a great job.  They were prompt, courteous and went above and beyond on this job.  When they installed the patio in my back yard, they moved the dirt to my front yard and positioned some large granite pieces that we purchased from them so we could create a decorative planting berm after they left.  This job also entailed a little bit of "engineering" for the driveway since it is shared with another landowner, and both of us are very satisfied with the end result.  I would definitely recommend having Tyler come out to bid your project - his prices are fair and both he and his brother's work ethic is remarkable for a couple of relatively young men.  I just wish I could say the same for all of the contractors I've worked with over the years!!

Tyler came out to give us a bid and explained how they would first use the bobcat to clear things out and then would use a rake to get out the roots. We talked about what to do with the debris and what the space would look like afterwards. He explained that it would probably take 2 days- one day to get everything out and a second day to rake. True to his description, it took 2 days. His co-worker arrived just when he said he would at 7am- talked with us about the work and got started. He did a great job and asked us a few clarifying questions at the start and end of the days. Once we got everything looking pretty good, he again asked if we wanted more clean up (we did not). The space looked great! We were very pleased with the work and the friendliness of Tyler and his staff. We will definitely work with ATD again.

He came in after a contractor miss poured our foundation and and fixed and/or built the earth work, driveway, retaining walls that then needed to be designed and built to deal with the changes that resulted from the previous contractors bad work.
