Camilo came to look at the job.  My mother-in-law had cedar shakes replace the rear side of her house years ago and now needed the front replaced.  It was an ecosystem.  Camilo took measurements and then sat down with us.  He was great at explaining his small business and addressing the concerns of an 86 year-old widow who's lived in the same house since it was built in the 60s.  He told me he would e-mail me an estimate soon. 
That didn't happen.  After we had received two other bids, I finally e-mailed him and wondered why he would take all that time and effort only to fail at submitting a bid.  He apologized for an office miscommunication and had the bid to me immediately.  His was second lowest among four.  We chose EDCA and Camilo returned to her house with a selection of composite shingles, as she chose not to go with cedar for economic reasons.  I had reservations re: their communication, but it proved to be wasted worry.
My wife and her brother were present for that second meeting and were very impressed with Camilo's demeanor.  Because of an unexpected opening in his schedule, work began within a week and was completed in 3 work days.  Everyone in the family is pleased and congratulating me for finding EDCA and getting the job done with so little disruption and anxiety to my mother-in-law.  She is the most delighted and kept commenting on how professional and polite the crew was.
Yes, we have found some stray roofing nails.  She, however, protests that she witnessed a junior member of the crew dragging a magnet for hours and gives EDCA a pass on that.  Clearly, their pricing and personal touch impressed us all.

Camilo and his crew were excellent!  They started ahead of schedule and finished on time and budget. All sidewalks and driveways were thoroughly cleaned everyday, supplies were left neat and tidy, and there was absolutely no damage to any of our landscape plants or beds. While we anticipated replacing some rotten plywood, when additional damage was uncovered, Camilo immediately contacted me, sent photos, and explained options; the time and materials to fix this problem wound up slightly less than he estimated. While EDCA wasn't the cheapest bid we received, they were far from the most expensive. We would hire EDCA again without reservations! Thank you, Camilo, we appreciate all of your work.

Excellent first visit.  Listened well, wrote down all our concerns.  Showed up on time with a full crew.  Protected plants well.  Worked 2 full days with a large crew.  Did excellent work on removing old insulation.  Also excellent work on new flashing to exclude rats.

If I were paying attention, I would have asked that they prepaint the roof plywood where it would be exposed under the eaves.  Would have been a lot easier for me.

Also, I might have asked for reflective paint under the roof plywood to exclude some heat.

The Edca Roofing company was terrific. They removed all three layers of old roofing, down to the original wooden shakes and skip sheathing, They installed a heavy plywood base, then various moisture barriers before the final layer of Certainteed shingles. They increased the number of soffit vents and used Certainteed ridge vents with baffles to improve circulation in the attic crawl space. They replaced all chimney, vent,and skylight flashings and installed metal flashing along all roof edges. The Edca team of 2-4 experienced workers each day did one section of the roof at a time to ensure that no area was left open overnight. They came on time, they finished the job on schedule, and every night cleaned up the work area so that we could use all entrances to the house easily. We highly recommend them to anyone who needs a new roof.

The entire experience went very well, from initial meeting to get a price quote, to contract signing, to performance of the work. EDCA was one of four roofing companies that I solicited bids from, The contractor answered all of my questions and was willing to negotiate contract terms. The contractor took three full days to tear off, implement repairs, and install the new roof on my house and carport. The contractor showed up when they said they would, did all the work in a professional manner. They cleaned up at the end of each day. Since the work was finished, we have had a few big autumn storm events and there has not been any standing water on my roof. I am very pleased with the finished product. My only quibble is that they took too long to provide the written warranties. I am sure that it is because it was the end of the season and they were racing to complete other roofing projects, but I was getting a little nervous. However,  I would definitely recommend EDCA Roofing. They were great, the crew was very hard working and they delivered everything they promised. Best home contracting experience that I have ever experienced.

Camilo, Eduardo, Saul and the entire EDCA roofing team did a fantastic job replacing our old cedar shake roof.  The bid was extremely competitive and the service outstanding.  The estimate / bid process was very easy and the proposal was very comprehensive.  Upon accepting the proposal, EDCA roofing began work 2 weeks later.  Each day, the workers arrived on-time and worked hard throughout the day.  The workers were extremely friendly and courteous, greeting us each time they saw us.  Eduardo and Saul checked in with us on a daily basis and worked with us as we jointly determined the best locations for the tubular skylights.  When the team discovered some water damage (from our old leaky roof), they quickly repaired the damaged area and primed / painted the exposed wood to match our house.  Each evening, the workers did a very thorough job of cleaning up, removing any debris that had fallen, sweeping / blowing our patio, removing tarps, etc.  Every evening, there was minimal evidence of a job in-progress. 

The entire roof job took a little over a week including tear-off, new plywood, felt, shingles, adding the skylights, new gutters / gutter guards, etc.  We have received many compliments on our new roof and wouldn't hesitate to recommend EDCA roofing to anyone who asks. All-in-all, an A+ experience.

Came on time.  Worked as quietly as was possible.  Very well done.  Very safety concious.  Quality all the way.  Cleaned up very well.

Edca Roofing gave a very reasonable estimate and promptly showed up and completed the repairs and laid down the new torch-down part of the roof in one long day, working well over 8 hours. They were very professional, courteous and competent. Everything went smoothly and we very satisfied.

I was out of town for a week. During this time the first real rain of the season started. I had been in my house only a few months, so I didn't know how things would go once the weather changed from the unseasonably dry spell. I was horrified to walk into my living room and see water running down the walls. I found EDCA on Angie's List. They were the company that could come out the soonest. The person I spoke with asked when the last time I had the gutters cleaned out. I had no idea. He recommended that I do that anyway, and while the worker was on the roof, he would check to see if he could figure out if there were any other problems.
The gutter cleaning commenced on time as scheduled, and while up there, the worker noticed 5 or 6 places where shingles were missing. He told me that he had some in the van that were the same type, but of a different color. I joked that I couldn't even see up there, so that wouldn't matter. He replaced the missing shingles for no additional cost. The walls no longer have water running down them.

EDCA did the roof for our eight-unit condo - they did an excellent job and I would recommend them to others.

EDCA is the ABSOLUTE BEST. We had three different companies bid for our roofing job. EDCA was the lowest bidder for the same Mfgr., roofing product and color of the shingles. They met my schedule for installation - which was to have the job finished within 2 weeks from the bid acceptance. The crew was on- site every morning and not only worked a full day, but completely cleaned up everything before they left for the day. The entire crew was very polite, and most of the time you could hear laughter and singing coming from the roof top where the crew was working. The owners of the company came out three different times to make sure we were satisfied with the work, progress, etc. The roof and skylights came out beautifully, the job was completed on time, they replaced some broken siding boards at no extra cost, the workers are all highly professional and happy in their work, the price was exactly as bid. What more is there to say? I highly, highly recommend EDCA for your roofing needs and will do so to all my friends and family. One last thing - did I mention that EDCA is the ABSOLUTE BEST. I did? I liked that they were honest, as they told us our roof was in good shape and didn't need to have it replaced. They also recommended someone else that would clean the roof, came out while it was raining and came twice, which they didn't charge us for coming the second time. Overall, they are someone we would use again, even though they were not very responsive.

We got four bids and they all came in around the same amount.  Edca's wasn't the lowest but Camilo gave us very precise information and was very helpful in explaining everything.  He did the most thorough initial inspection and followed through every step of the way.   The crew was very polite and hard working and cleaned up every night.  We would not hesitate to use this company again and would recommend them to everyone.

They did a great job. They saved our church a lot of money. Everyone worked fast and had the job done quick.

There were a number of technical issues with my roof that Edca solved: 1) standing water in a certain area of the upper roof was eliminated by building a cricket - a sloping section under the roof that directed rain water to the drain,.2) replacing plastic drains with more durable cast iron drains,3) fixing potential leaks from roof skylights by making sure the new membrane was wrapped around and over the skylight mounts to ensure professional seal 4) eliminating poorly designed louvered vents along the side of a parapet wall and replacing with a continuous vent at the top with a metal cap - not only more efficient but more attractive. 5) replacing 250 ft of old metal cap on knee walls and parapet walls with better quality baked enamel metal cap with better long lasting fasteners, 6) Making sure metal counter flashing was installed in locations where leaks are most common, especially at all all intersections of new roofing membrane and existing tongue and groove siding where the garage roof meets the side of the house. 7) Making sure  pipe flashing, overflow wall drains (scuppers that protrude outward from side of house/garage), and all corners and roof sections were installed with new membrane and flashing appropriate for each section of the job.  I was very pleased all these troublesome roof issues were completely fixed in a professional and friendly way with good communication and regular updates of how everything was going. Camillo and Edwardo are actively involved and their crew is very experienced, respectful  and polite - they show up on time, work diligently, clean up and put away everything every day, and keep you well informed of progress. In the roofing business, its hard at the beginning to tell the pros from the amateurs, but I tell you these guys are the pros! And at the prices they offer for all they do, its a screaming value. Highly recommend you include them in the bidding process (against anyone else) for your next roof replacement.

They did a good job and they were neat. They cleaned up afterwards and I was happy with them. They did it as quickly as they could. They stayed on it and got things done. I would use their services in the future too.

The work done by them was fine. They were excellent. Their professionalism was also excellent. I don?t have any complaints about them. The price charged by them was fair. The quality of their work is fine and the roof doesn?t leak. You won?t know about the quality till some time goes by. Their responsiveness and punctuality were fair. I would use their services in the future too. In fact, I got some bids from them.

They were highly recommended by my neighbor and his son. They are very professional, prompt. Camille was personable, helpful, and extremely easy and personable to work with. They stated that what ever you need let me know. He even stated that even after the warranty runs up to let them know. They take great pride in work and want you to be satisfied. It was a multi day project and they came with their own porta-potty. It seemed that they wanted to have the least impact on you as possible. They showed up every day promptly. We had an issue with a sub, and Camille handled the problem quickly and efficiently. I have recommended them to friends and have no hesitation to do so.

Camillo was great. Arrived on time to give an estimate. Spent quite a while walking the site and checking everything out. We discussed how much venting I needed and he showed me how to calculate venting requirements. I learned a lot about roofing. We discussed all the options for getting the required ventilation and how to do it in the most cost effective and simplest way. Installers came promptly the next week and the work was done in a day. They left the site clean and it looks like the vents have always been there.

It was a big job and they were outstanding people. They communicated very well, and they told me everything they were going to do and why they were doing it. They recommended the type of roofing and they kept us up to date on everything they did. We had five different bids and they happened to be the lowest bid.

Overall the work went well - it took a few weeks after getting the estimate and calling them for work to get the job done, but it was inside the time frame they told us. Plus it was in the middle of a rainy December. Edca wasn't the least expensive of the estimates we got, but they were the only ones who gave a quote on all the work that we needed done - we knew that we'd need new gutters after the fascia board was replaced, and the drip edge of the roof needed to be fixed (it was improperly installed a number of years ago). Chris was thorough and polite when he came to estimate the job. Camilo was in charge of the repairs themselves, and came to our house during the weekend before the work was to be done to make sure he was ordering the right materials. Since we had only a couple of rows of shingles replaced, he made sure to explain to us that the shingles wouldn't be an exact match to the old ones and got our okay before proceeding. They got the paint color and formula for our exterior trim to make sure the fascia matched exactly. He warned us that they might need to replace some of the plywood, which added only $64 in the end. The work proceeded smoothly over a few days and we're very pleased with the results.
