I purchased a new dishwasher from Albert Lee in early September 2020. I had to wait until 10/23 for the install. The installation crew arrived on 10/23, installed my new dishwasher and discovered it was defective; unit would drain and fill, but the washing cycle\motor would not engage. So they scheduled a service call for a technician to come and fix the washer. A few days later I received an email from Kitchenaid stating that I had a service appoint scheduled for 10/30. 10/30 rolled around, no service technician arrived. I call the service company, Appliance Hospital, and they told me that the actually service appointment was not until 11/19-three weeks later. I called Albert Lee and complained. I asked if I could purchase a different dishwasher and have it installed promptly, swapping with the defective unit. They refused to do that for me. Stating that even if they allowed the swap, I'd have to go to the back of the install line and wait until December 23rd. Absolutely unacceptable! On 11/16, the day before Appliance Hospital was supposed to come and fix the defective unit, they called me to state that the necessary parts were unavailable and after 10 additional business days it would be up to me to contact Kitchenaid and work out a solution. Enough is enough. I called Albert Lee and told them to come and get their defective dishwasher and refund my money. I will NEVER do business with Albert Lee again...EVER. Horrible experience! I found the same dishwasher at another appliance retailer, purchased it online and the install is scheduled before the end of December.

I spent a ton of money with Albert Lee for multiple appliances including a Blomberg Fridge/Freezer combo. It immediately began to leak and caused 6K in damage. Beko (owns Blomberg) has informed us that they won’t pay for the damage the fridge caused. Very shady company who employed a “risk mitigation” company to figure out how to blow us off. Albert Lee has not been helpful in getting this resolved which is really sad. Obviously I’m just one customer out of many so they don’t care, but I would have thought they could have used their leverage with Beko to make this right. Next time I will buy from a big box because they probably would have made this right immediately. Advise: Buy at Albert Lee if the price is better but that’s it. Expect nothing if you know what happens.

After Albert Lee installed new washer/dryer, the washer had a problem. That's no big deal, stuff happens: so we call Albert Lee and they schedule a technician to come fix it. The technician arrives with the wrong parts for the dryer instead, even though the work order explicitly says it's for the washer. Ok. They reschedule for a whole 2 weeks later, saying that's as soon as they can come, and for the second time in a row, the technician only has a part for the dryer!!! Now the technician says he'll be back in 2 days with the new part. 2 days later, they call us and say they don't have the part, and it will be ANOTHER 2 weeks before they can get to us. Please note this is not an exotic or unusual dryer model. It is very standard. It has taken them 3 visits before they could bring one correct part. This wasn't a complicated problem. They screwed up twice and even then didn't do anything to hurry back, making us wait well over a month for a fix. The people answering the phone weren't even apologetic. Truly some of the worst customer service and operation I've ever seen.

They hand off the installation to a 3rd party vendor. But don't manage them. Vendor is just small time independent people. No manned phones, called at 7pm for next day install. Wanted me to take the whole day off

The delivery was later than promised so I had to wait around for them to show up. All went well once they arrived, but I was disappointed that they left the connection of the vent up to me. I had to go to Lowes to buy the parts to make it work. I'm happy with the product.

I use Albert Lee Appliance.  They were non responsive when we complained.  If you buy an appliance from them and then you buy an extended warranty, they farm that out to some third, you know, like a contractor, and the contractor is just horrible.  They don't call you back, they're slow, I mean it's just terrible.  We bought an appliance from them, and we bought an extended warranty, I think we bought a 5 year extended warranty, and after two years we got so frustrated with them because they wouldn't fix it, that we just said forget it and we went to Sear's and bought it from them.  They just took it away and we lost money on it.  It was awful.  It cost like $1500 for the appliance and $225 for the warranty, so in total about $1725.  The pricing was average.

Salesman Tim Greggs showed us the dishwasher's features and answered our questions. The scheduled delivery flow was for over a week, but we were put on an installation move-up list and got it in four days. Installers Mike and Michael did an efficient thorough job and left the kitchen in great shape. All three men who we dealt with were professional and courteous.
The dishwasher cleans and dries extremely well with no spots, has a great three-drawer interior design, and is very quiet.

They sent an email the day before the installation with an hour and a half window. They showed up right on time. Since our house is almost fifty years old they had to make small modifications for almost all the items. They were courteous and professional. They even ran to the hardware store to get a plug for our unused drain. Everything is beautiful and works perfectly.

They are life-long in the business. The salespeople have been there for many years. The average is 22 years in the business, the salesman told us. It's not just a job; it's what they do. They are very knowledgeable. The installation was so fast and so professional. Their showroom is very different from Sears or Lowe's. We shopped around to compare. We have older house, so I appreciated the installer knew what he was doing. Our house has an open floor plan, so we paid a little more for the quietest one. We also purchased an extended warranty for repairs.

We bought a washer and dryer that the sales person told us before we bought it  had 2 year parts and labor warranty.

We were going to buy them at lowes as they had a 3 year parts and labor warranty for $79.00

However the sales person told us that this washer is so reliable that less than 1 in a 100 is there a problem with.

WELL 12 months and 3 weeks after buying the washer and dryer the washer died. It is only used once a week so its not like it got a lot of use.

At first we were told that the warranty was for parts for 2 years covered by the manufacturer and labor for one year from Albert Lee and its just our bad luck that the warranty from Albert Lee (one year) expired and our washer crapped out 3 weeks later. We spoke with customer service and the customer complaints manager with no luck.

THEN a few days later we got a call telling us they were going to honor both the labor and parts warranty.

The serviceman came out and replaced a blown fuse in the washer which took about 5 minutes and we were up and running.

So to be fair they did the right thing and I would buy from them again.  :-)

Bought the washer were told it had 2 year parts and labor only to find out it only had one years labor and they refused to honor the parts and labor warranty.
Mr West the sales rep also refused to step up to the plate and honor the warranty on the washer he said only one in 100 have had a problem with.
Be VERY CAREFUL if you buy from these folks .  Make sure you read ALL the fine print because you certainly cannot trust what they tell you up front.

They have better customer service than I have ever experienced. They don’t do repairs but they will refer you and make sure that everything is being done properly. They just called us today to make sure that we are happy with what we bought from them. They have a good reputation. We had a positive experience with them buying stuffs. The customer service person is amazing. When we bought the washer/dryer, they were also the ones who hooked it up and installed it. They cleaned up after they were done. They made follow up calls to make sure we were happy and satisfied.

They delivered our purchase exactly as they promised.

Went in to purchase a Jenn Air 36" downdraft cooktop. After walking around for 20 minutes, i realized that they were not interested in making a sale. I was never approached by a sales person or asked by the front desk person if I needed any help. I should have learned from my firsts experience with Albert Lee, but I believe that everyone deserves a second chance. Never again!

First time I've priced or purchased an appliance from a local company (instead of big box and/or Nationwide store. I was pleasantly surprised. EXTREMELY knowledgeable sales person, not aggressive AT ALL, listened to my needs and asked questions, and showed us features, compared various brands, models. Nice showroom. Competitive prices. We will definitely be buying all future appliances from Albert Lee Appliances.

Happy with the cook top, installation is a nightmare. We spent quite a bit of time with a knowledgeable sales person, looked at different types of cooktops to replace on an old center vent electric Jennair. We declined higher amperage inductive cook tops as they would require higher amperage wire to be run which was not something we wanted to do. Sales person recommends gas cook top as plug and play, we order it, they come to intsall it looks great but it wont work. Cannot interface to the 220V used by original electric cooktop...installer says we should have been advised but there is nothing he can do recommends I call his dispatcher. I call and was told problem will be handled by management and they will call.
After a few hours salesman calls apologetic if there were misunderstandings, but any adjustment to the installation would come out of his own pocket, apparently Albert Lee deducts customer service adjustments out of employee paychecks, we all make mistakes seems like the company would stand behind him a bit more. SO final solution is you bought it , you can buy our installation services and we might make it work but if we don't your on your own
Thanks to the team at Albert Lee

They could have done better. I had brought the measurements from my old dishwasher and they said it was not a problem. When they came to install it, it was less than half an inch too big to fit. He said that he would get me a smaller dishwasher and I didn't want that. I wanted him to cut off a little lip and he didn't have the right saw to do it. I had to cut it myself and it was a hassle to cut it. He should have had the equipment to do that but I guess they don't want to do that. I went and complained about it because all my appliances are from them. I wasn't happy with the installation. If he was going to install it, he should have had the tools to saw it. As I was cutting it, I hit my countertop 2 or 3 places but it's not too noticeable. I had to do it real fast because he was on a schedule. I wasn't happy but usually they are pretty good. They matched the price of another company that was $50 cheaper. I had good service from the salesman when I went down to talk to them about it. He was very sorry. He was on time. My washer and dryer are from them and I had good service on that installation. I will probably use them again.

I am very happy with Albert Lee Appliances. I initially went searching for a new gas range at Sears, and had decided I wanted the GE Cafe Gas Range. Sears quoted me a price and said they'd be happy to order it for me. Fortunately, I also went to Albert Lee, and sales person Roberta Schwimmer gave me great information. She asked what kind of range I currently had (electric), and said that if I went with an all gas range, as opposed to a dual fuel, that I needed to know I would have to get a different type electrical outlet installed beforehand, in addition to having a gas line ready. The Sears person had not asked me any questions, had not told me about the electrical outlet change, and I doubt that she even knew. Armed with that new info from Roberta, I decided to go with the dual fuel GE Cafe range from Albert Lee. When the installers came, they of course did a great, careful job taking out the old range and putting in the new one. Then one commented that I must have gotten a new dishwasher, because the plastic film coating was still on it. I was embarrassed to admit it wasn't new at all, that I'd always been a little disappointed with the dull finish, and had not ever noticed that it was a plastic film (purchased from and installed by Sears). So I took off the newly discovered film, and now I feel like I have a new dishwasher, too! Albert Lee Appliance is really a class act, and I did not pay any more for the range than I would have at Sears. (The range hood I got is not even available for order at Sears.) I will continue to get all my appliances from them.

Albert Lee never again ! Made prior purchases with this appliance store however one of the most recent (electric cooktop range) is turning out to be a nightmare experience. Purchased a $2,000 range. At the time of purchase we told the sales person after measuring that we will have a gap between the back of the range and the wall. She said no problem. Told us that a trim piece was available which we added to the purchase. The range was delivered a couple weeks later however the trim piece ended up being on back-order. Okay fine. The first time we used the cooktop we started noticed cloudy gray smudges on the black glass that would not come out with the recommended cream/cleaner. The first week we spent countless hours and spending money on every cleaner and nothing worked. Called Albert Lee to exchange the range and was told by the manager on duty that they were unable to replace it that the issue would fall under warranty. I questioned that we had only had it for 1 week and the manager said regardless it would need to fall under warranty. In the meantime, the trim piece was delivered. The delivery guys had our range pulled out and took the trim piece out of the packaging. It was the wrong color and completely scratched up. Okay fine. They put the range back and ordered the correct trim piece. In the meantime, we decided to order a new hood as well. Stopped by another Albert Lee location and placed the order. So we wouldn't have two separate deliveries, i coordinated both on the same day back-to-back. The hood was installed correctly. The driver showed up with the trim piece and was going to have the hood installer help him install. Took the trim piece out of the wrapping and said and quot;bummer...unfortunately we are unable to install this. It needs to be screwed into the wall and we are not allowed to do thatand quot;. Okay...i guess my partner and I are going to have to pull out the range ourselves and install it. Lovely. A couple weeks later we get a call that our glasstop replacement is in. The Appliance Hospital (warranty company) showed up and mentioned that the rubber trim on the cooktop should not have a glued seam in it, that it should be one solid strip of rubber. My partner who was home handling the appointment said and quot;but wait so you're telling me it's defectiveand quot;. The repair guy replied and quot;yesand quot;. My partner said and quot;please wait while I call Albert Lee to get it taken care of before we replace the cooktop. The repair guy said and quot;i don't have time to waitand quot; and started packing up to leave. He also mentioned this was the and quot;ONLY time he would replace our glasstopand quot;. The guy took off. My partner asked to have the rubber piece replaced correctly at the time of the cooktop replacement. So we waited for the rubber piece which btw, the entire control panel has to be replaced as well (it is part of the rubber trim piece). Get a call that all the parts are in and we call to schedule installation however we tell AH that we want another installer. That the guy that came out previously had a terrible attitude and we would prefer someone else. They said they had no one else to service our area. My partner said you need to find someone else. They accommodated our request. Yesterday, AH came out with the glasstop replacement and trim piece / control panel. Unfortunately, the worker damaged the rubber trim piece and there is a dent in the control panel. Really ? He is a nice guy but now I just want to take this range and drop it off at Albert Lee's front door. So tonight I get home (Fri night) long hard week at work and we decide to cook. My partner goes to turn on the oven and gets an error msg. We try it several times and keep getting errors. Couldn't believe it. Our oven (or control panel) doesn't work. Now I've had it. Called Albert Lee and demanded to speak to a manager. The gal that answered transferred me to the MGR in Seattle. I tried to explain this saga and told him that this is no longer Appliance Hospital's issue or our issue it is Albert Lee's issue and they need to solve the issue. I made sure that I wasn't yelling but was firm. He was extremely condescending and told me that he would contact Fridgidaire. I told him that wasn't good enough. Now this is Albert Lee's issue not Fridgidaire's. I'm asked him to step up and resolve this on going issue. He hung up on me. Great...we are now left with a range with a dented trim piece, dented control panel an oven that doesn't work and a border trim kit sitting in the packaging in our office and a large gap between the range and the wall. Albert Lee has a great sales pitch, will accommodate any request, no problem at the time of collecting money, but CLEARLY customer service is not a concern for them under any circumstance.
