BRAND X

We were exceptionally pleased with Brand X. They came out to provide an estimate (which proved to be the lowest of the multiple estimates we received), and proposed some small alternatives to our initial vision. These were very helpful suggestions, and Brand X was not at all pushy about the suggestions; they were just making sure we knew our options. They also suggested ways that we could do some additional labor to substantially reduce the costs (i.e., digging out the holes ourselves). We decided to have them do it all, but we appreciated their willingness to help us find ways to reduce costs. Communication before and during the project was great. There was a minor delay due to illness of one of their employees, but they communicated that and we worked around it, no problem. (It was that time of year; EVERYONE was getting sick.) The minor ding to the responsiveness rating is that they left a wheelbarrow behind, which we let them know about, but it's been sitting in our backyard for several months. Having an extra wheelbarrow around obviously isn't an inconvenience at all, just a strange little wrinkle. The final product was exactly as promised and looks great. We couldn't be happier. In short, we'd hire Brand X again in a heartbeat.
