In In terms of overall quality of the move itself, the move went fine - furniture and household items were handled carefully and arrived without a scratch.  Tito who was the "lead mover" was smart, capable, and personable - skilled in his profession.  Careful with not dinging walls or floors.
The problems were around the company's communications and planning  Moving out of an apartment that requires an elevator to move things is not so simple as moving out of a house.  We had the elevator reserved for 8AM-12noon and I communicated that fact to the company a number of times.  The movers didn't actually show up at the building until 9:57AM (I know the exact time, because by then I was worried about a conflict with the elevator since it was reserved for another move from 12noon - PM).  I made several calls when it became apparent they weren't going to be there at 8AM and got VM several times until I got a person - and at that point there was little could be done.  The dispatcher had sent the crew scheduled for my move to accomplish another task, and the crew had no idea regarding the time constraint.
A representative of the moving company had visited my apartment 5 days prior to the move and confirm their estimate which had originally been made from my description regarding what had to be moved.  So the the amount of work to be done was clear to the planners from the beginning.  After one quick look at the apartment the lead mover announced "no way" they could be finished with the elevator in 4 hours - and at this point we were already two hours late.  Blessedly the other moving crew was willing to share the elevator, Tito and crew hustled their butts off (not even stopping for lunch)  and the last load went down the elevator at 3:45PM (don't know how things would have been handled had the other crew not been willing to share).
And I'll just add that I had already boxed about 1/3 of the stuff that needed to be boxed - items that were actually included to be boxed in my contract.  I boxed them because I wanted to be sure of the care they got.  Had I not done this boxing the time problem would have been further exacerbated.
Communication leading up to signing the contract was also shaky - I chose the company based on physical location and Angie's List reviews - as is often the case I HAD to move on a specific date or things would be a mess.  It took me several calls, emails, voice mails with the days ticking by before I was able to get the move confirmed and a contract signed.  While it all worked out, there was plenty of stress along the way for me - are these guys really going to move me? Do I need to start looking for someone else?
In terms of price, I have no complaints about the price - fortunately a clause in the contract specified a limit that I could be charged above the estimated price - and that is exactly the amount I was charged - up to the contractual limit.  In fact the "gross number," i.e., the amount based on actual time and distance was nearly double the original estimate.
So summary:  a good move; but more stressful than it needed to be because of confusion, poor planning, and poor communication in the company itself.  And my sense is that these problems probably stem from the company being understaffed and the lines of communication between company and customer not being clear

They were very organized on the way that they did things even though I wasn't organized, they really know how to make the process much, much smoother, the moving process was actually a nightmare because the apartment wasn't even ready yet but they made it, they helped to make the situation much, much better. The workers were very nice and very friendly and very professional in the way that they did things. I plan to use them again.

They were okay, not great. They broke a few things and there was some hassle at the end on the terms of the recovery.

We've moved a number of times, having our belongings packed and moved each time. This was the move professional move that we've had - we worked with most of the same employees throughout the process, and they were professional, cheerful, and considerate the whole time. The one thing that was somewhat excessive was that the company itself seems overly absorbed with checking on and quot;how they're doingand quot;, to the point that the only thing they're not doing well is continuing to ask how they're doing. But the move itself and the employees that we encountered were top notch.

This is our second move with this company. The person who came out to do the bid asked all the right questions to determine just what we needed. The actual cost actually was lower than the bid because of the efficiency of the crew. They arrived right on time, and moved quickly to beat the threatening rain. We appreciated their care both of our former home and the new one. The crew was fun to work with, and never stopped moving even as we asked questions. They appreciated our purchasing sandwiches for them as well as us, and didn't bill us for the 20 minutes we all stopped for lunch. When they left, they walked through with us asking if there was anything we wanted moved or adjusted before they left, which we appreciated.

It was painless for us. No damage. It was a very hot day and we purchased lots of Gatorade for them!

The representative who came out was organized and very experienced and knows his business well. They gave us a firm price and no extras and I felt very confident with hiring them to do our move. They also gave us a definate pickup date and time and definate arrival date.
