Today I asked Craig about a "sand wasp" situation I had in the front yard. He was knowledgeable, kind and went above and beyond. This company hires quality techs. They don't just come out and do the standard. When Craig calls to let me know he's coming he always takes the time to discuss how current treatment is going or if I have any new issues.

I contacted Sentinel Pest Control as I was pretty sure I had termites. I was immediately impressed by the professional manner of the technician. I was expecting a large expensive bill. Turns out I had a minor issue which did not include termites. The thing that impressed me was Wayne could have taken advantage of the situation and instead chose to give me an honest evaluation of what my issue was. I need some special attention for moths since I sell wool blankets. He educated me on what was needed to handle this problem and helped set up a maintenance schedule. From initial contact to my first scheduled maintenance was a very short period of time. Very impressed on all levels. Paula Summers

I have used Sentinel Pest for over15 years and as a Realtor I have referred this company to my clients and have never been disappointed. It is a family owned business and very nice people to work with. My experience with some of the larger companies has not always been as positive.

The inspector arrived on time and removed his shoes on the porch before he even rang the bell.  He looked at the dead termite I had saved for him and informed me that it was a damp wood termite and that if I did have an infestation it would be easier to get rid of this kind of termite than the other kind.  He performed a thorough inspection and told me that I did not have a termite infestation.  Evidently the termite was just "casing the joint."  There was no charge for this inspection.  If I ever have another pest problem this is definitely the company I will call.

We're highly satisfied in all areas with them. They're friendly. If I have a need for them to come out immediately, they do. They've just been great. We had a complaint once and we talked to the owner of the company and he was very positive and it was corrected.

I had a very positive experience with Sentinel. I worked directly with Wayne, the manager, who greatly impressed me. First off, I was working on a tight deadline, as my house was up for sale and moving toward closing. They were very prompt and reliable. I had left a message over a weekend and they got back to me first thing Monday morning. They were also able to get in to see me that morning, actually arriving a few minutes early for the appointment (so often I have been left waiting for some time for service in this type of situation). They also did not try to oversell what I needed. I had been told by another individual that I would need a full house treatment for subterranean termites. If you are familiar with these, it is quite an extensive treatment (it can cost several thousand dollars). However, Wayne indicated a spot treatment would be adequate, as the termites had only been found in a limited area of the home. So, I was pleased that they did not try to sell me up to a whole house treatment. They were also able to schedule the treatment quickly, within a day of my request. Of course, they were prompt in completing it on time, as they indicated they would. During all this time, Wayne personally fielded my phone calls as necessary, recognizing the tight timeline I was under to complete closing on the house. Furthermore, he was responsive to any other needs that I had, such as faxing the receipt to my realtor just at the close of business on a Friday evening. He even informed me that if he had to come back into the office, if the employee had not gotten the receipt/work order back in time, he would do so that evening, to assure my timeline was met. I was rather impressed with his customer service, to say the least! We went through various phone calls, emails, and text messages. There was various information that was necessary for my realtor, and Wayne even fielded a phone call from the buyer. While I realize many of you will not need this type of service (e.g. phone calls,faxes, etc.) what was quite clear is that Wayne is dedicated to providing the utmost possible customer service. This is a local, family owned, business. It was quite clear that he was dedicated to demonstrating the absolute best in customer service for his business.

They are very friendly and prompt. They have been able to come out same day or next day if situations have come up for me. A previous time we had rats in our crawl space and they were able to remove it for us and help rebuild the crawlspace door. They handled the situation professionally and logically. The price was really reasonably.

I spend between $150-$170 per quarter. They are a relatively small company. The son of the owner is going to take over. They do a pretty good job. They are thorough and they don't overcharge.

We initially hired them on February of last year because we had rats getting in our car space. We called three different companies to come and look at the situation and how they were going to take care of the situation and Sentinel Pest Control was the best among them. We had paid $300 initially for the installation and now we pay them monthly. I would rate them high overall and would continue to use them again in the future.
