RUSS GOETTING

Floors that were finished were beautiful, but didn’t finish job. Did not return multiple phone calls. Very disappointed because we had a good rapport and he just disappeared. Everything said in other reviews is true, but in this instance I still have 1/3 of my floors unfinished. The portion unfinished is the hardest part of the job (stairs) and no other contractor wants to complete just that portion without a steep premium. So Russ left us in a difficult situation without the courtesy of a phone call. Very unprofessional and poor business practice.

Overall, we are very pleased with Russ' work.  We were using another contractor to remodel our kitchen when we hired Russ to come in to install some hardwood flooring.  We liked him immediately and were blown away by his work.  As time went by, we realized Russ could do much more than floors, so we hired him for more and more jobs, and he eventually finished the other contractor's work and corrected some mistakes that had been made.  He has a very  keen eye and when asked gives us a straight up answer to how things should be done.  In addition, he listens to what we need and gives us options.  Over a year has passed, and we are still pleased with his craftsmanship and overall work.

Russ does truly amazing work. He is meticulous, on time, and very reasonably priced. He did a stunning job on our floors and staircase and everyone comments on how remarkable they look. If you need new hardwood floors, old floors refinished (Swedish or water based), or a staircase built, you should call Russ. His work, his professionalism and his attention to detail are unmatched, and all at a very fair price.
